WixRocks!:
First night is just about sold out, you'll have to go with stubhub etc. however night two has plenty of seats left still. "Safe" is questionable...Union Station is very close to Verizon Center though!
Thanks, and yes, if I decide to go I'll definitely be checking stubhub or other brokers. Anyone here made the trip that can fill in any of the travel/lodging details?

Since I am not using these and they aren't selling, I might as well give one each to someone who appreciates Paul. Tuesday, August 9 Section 111,Row M, Seat 1 Wednesday, August 10 Section 218, Row E, Seat 5 (side view of stage) PM your choice with your name/address and I will send in the mail to you. First come, first served.
Sent you a PM regarding the August 10th show!

Well- I'm in for both nights!!! My aunt who got me started in my own music-making experience and furthered a great deal of my education in all things Beatles is retiring to Florida in September so I splurged and surprised her with an invite to the show! We'll be in section 121 Row G...pretty close to the stage on the first tier. Honestly, these are better seats than I've got for my girlfriend on the first night! Still lots and lots of seats left, even up front. I didn't want to risk my Aunt being stuck behind someone too tall, so this seemed like a safer seat. Can't wait till next month for Macca #11 & #12!!!

Wix Rocks, Section 121 is great!!! I had it in October 2005. Great view. I was in Row P, but it was close to the stage. I enjoyed observing the equipment before the show. Great view of Abe pounding away!

Who is taking metro? My seat is on the floor near the stage. It's not an aisle seat so I can't really squeeze out early to catch the last metro train for the night and besides I wouldn't want Paul to notice me leaving before he is finished! Does anyone know if there are taxi outside in case I can't make the last metro train of the night?

I think that we'll get I Saw Her Standing There and Jet in Washington Night 2. If Buenos Aires was any evidence, it seemed like he decided that he'd play those instead of Hi, Hi, Hi and Birthday on back to back shows unlike what he did in Vancouver and Minneapolis.

Don't recall any of that happening : I'd love to have a few songs shake up on back to back nights like he used to though!

Auravede, if you look on the Verizon Center web site it lists a lot of hotels near the Center. I think the walk from Union Station to the Verizon Center would be kind of long. Better option is to take the Metro subway Red Line from Union Station to the Metro Center stop. That is near the Verizon Center. Another option is that there are always lots of taxis at Union Station.

Anyone know where the limo watch will be at the Verizon Center? Where do cars pull in? What time are sound checkers told to arrive? Paul usually gets there about one hour later, right?

I'm not attempting limo watch at Verizon Center. I've walked the perimeter of that building multiple times and am completely mystified as to how the bands get inside. They must drive inside and go down and underneath the arena or something. I can't imagine it would be a very fruitful limo watch!

What time is good to arrive at the Verizon Center on Tuesday? Not to limo watch but to get in line to get in. I'm thinking 6:30 p.m.? Does anyone know if there is a Starbucks inside the Verizon Center? I haven't been back since Paul last played there in October 2005. I looked on the Verizon Center's website and it says they sell Pepsi products and Lipton tea neither of which I like. Who else is relying on Metro rail? I'm taking money just in case I need to take a cab home!

I'll probably get to Verizon Center at about 7pm both nights. Paul won't be on stage till 8:30-ish...I'll be taking metro down and back both times and have no worries about missing it after the show.
