That's my little stroke joke. "My brain is ok, except for the u6k84as3fj41." I've probably used to too much, but not here. Yet.

My doctor said there was a problem with my skull. I told him if he had said brain I could believe him.

What did the hippocampus say during its retirement party?
Thanks for the memories.

Why didn't the brain want to take a bath?
It didn't want to get brainwashed...

I was sorry to read about your stroke, Hailey's Comet, and I'm glad you're recovering well and getting better all the time. Wow, I remember when you told us about your car crash, and now this...you're due for some good things to happen !

Don't tell Nancy. Or maybe do. She might have some pointers.

The funny part is, I've had the nickname Hailey McComet since forever, for obvious reasons, but the only appearance of Halley's comet during my lifetime was the worst one ever.
Actually, a lot of good things have happened. Recovering from the accident was kind of a bitch, but I got back up to at least 90%, I went back to work, I have great friends to help me out emotionally, physically and with household chores. I could walk, talk, sing and dance. There are a million ways it could have been a lot worse. The whole stroke thing is just a minor setback. Maybe it's what I needed to kick my butt into getting all the way to 100%.

Just try to remember that if you don't make it, although I'm sure you will, maybe it's for the best. Being a nurse is an extremely difficult job. They should make it as hard as possible to get in so only the people who should really be doing it are the people actually doing it. If it turns out you need something easier, go for being a doctor.

Yes, they were two years apart. I don't know if that makes it better or worse. What really gets me is that I have some long overdue dental issues that are getting harder to ignore. It would have been so much easier to take out my wisdom teeth while my head was on fire. The good news is that the discomfort of a dental procedure can't possibly compare to having your skull cut open.

Or if you do, do it the old fashioned way and bribe the school directly. Don't bribe some guy to bribe the school.

Wow Hailey , sounds most painful about your skull.. a helpful tip for you about the Wisdom teeth...
Had one wisdom tooth pulled with just Novacain and it does not help at all. Waited a long time to get the other one pulled. That time, I got the gas... Go for the gas!!! It was so painless, don't know why they didn't offer it the first time. You can breath through your mouth to lessen the sensation of the gas and hear what they're saying, but when they start pulling...close your mouth and breath deep! It's instantaneous and Absolutely Painless. As soon as they remove the gas you are back to normal, without hours of numb gums. Good Luck to you!

The wind is blowing like a freight train and I don't have to go out! Pulling up the electric blanket, staying home and watching TV
