So...What's the Good News?

So. Does Prince Harry & Meghan's baby being born count? (I hope this is the right thread). I may have stumbled on why they named him Archie. Apparently a direct ancester of Princess Diana was a Lord Archibald. Could be a clever way of still giving her a nod. Just guessing.

Sadie did great at the groomer's today, she was very well behaved. Now she is all ready for the summer heat.

I heard that he will be 7th in line to the throne. Am sure that Diana is smiling from The Heavens. Am also glad that Harry and Meghan are controlling media access in a conscientious manner.

I read that Harrison, his middle name, is for George!!!!! How cool.
Thanks, Sir Stephen. I've been distracted by two hand surgeries last year and not been posting much. Have missed "seeing" everyone.

Thanks! Yes, apparently Meghan is a huge Beatles/George fan. Who knew? I am a huge Meghan fan. I absolutely LOVED her in Suits (TV show). Seems a shame that her acting career had to stop when she married Harry.

I'm almost positive she's still acting in her current roll!

His acts being seven ages. At first the infant,

It appears that guy I like likes me some in return (smiley face).

I got a new refrigerator
-
Good news about the new refrigerator!
I just found the last sale priced portable air conditioner at Best Buy and my first floor is cool for the first time in summer!!! Yay!!! So happy
-
We got a new fridge, too ! (laughs) This is the third new one we've had, I think. It appears that refridgerators nowadays don't last for years and years unless you get top of the line and shell out some big bucks (?). You think? The big "Zero Cool" ones or such. Now we need a new washing machine. That's next.
It looks like maybe a much bigger good thing than that has happened, which I don't want to go into. I don't want to jinx it.

Three more weeks until Disneyland!
-
Now Disneyland, that is some "good news"
Just had a get together with my entire family in LBI down the shore. Played mini golf with my cousins and their kids, just like in days way past. So much fun to share with this generation. We were all together for a funeral for my uncle, which was a celebration for the fact that he was finally reunited with my aunt. They had saved her ashes and mixed them together. Childhood sweethearts finally reuinited in heaven. Not a dry eye in the house.

My academic advisor has agreed to edit my paper on disaster relief education. That might not sound very exciting, but she is respected enough and experienced enough that with her assistance it is almost guaranteed to get published.
