interesting dreams hey_kittay lately, some more dreams of Sir Paul coming home by me to jam on my instruments with me and both of us singing over the years, usually those dreams were with a 1989-1993 Paul age look, but lately in the dreams he is today'sl age still exciting when they happen as it feels so real and we chat and discuss things in between the jamming

great dream Rahil . I was hoping that looking through the new, Rolling Stone glossy of Paul at the store the other night might bring him into a dream, but no luck yet.

^ You guys should search and study Lucid Dreaming. It is the act of being aware while you are dreaming. Some people exercise techniques in which they can actually plan the basic direction that their dreams take.

I once looked into lucid dreaming...using different tones and binaural audio. All it did was keep me awake. I would love to get that to work one day. The closest I've come is realizing that when I get in a dangerous/life-threatening situation, I usually remember that I'm dreaming and can wake myself up. That's about it. I did just wake up from one of the most complex dreams I have ever had. Nothing Macca related, but it was so overwhelming and had layer upon layer. I'll try and summarize: In the dream I was following some friends into a dark house in the middle of the night, and they'd disappear. Then they'd reappear and be secretive and dodgy. One night later I snuck in and was transported to another world like Earth, but advanced in tech on almost a Futurama scale. It was another world where many humans lived and Earth was this doomed, deteriorating place that didn't have much of a future. Turned out half of humanity actually lived as someone else on this other planet, but not everyone is qualified to have this ability. I found my entire family there, to my surprise, and then was told that I didn't qualify to live there and had to return to Earth with no memory of this place. It was traumatic! I tried to sneak around and hide but got caught. My memory of that place was wiped and I was sent back to Earth (I saw this part of the dream in third-person POV). Strange. In this dream I laughed, I cried, I drove cars, I was actively thinking of ways to elude people. It was a bit overwhelming after waking up. I can only imagine what could've happened if I was in a more lucid state.

I did this when I was young, about 8 yrs old. I dreamed I was a ballerina and I really wanted the dream to continue. Don't remember what I did, but I do remember I could continue the dream. Now I am thinking it might have been about a past life where I was a ballerina. ??? I wonder, dreams are strange creatures...

I had a dream the other night about meeting Paul but he looked younger (and the dream wasn't near lucid enough!) ops:

^^ love the dreams above L2T and NancyR. I am going to continue concentrating on my astral travel techniques that got me to Scotland and a few other places in my life. I have heard somewhere, of this Lucid Dreaming, I am going to study it. I also think that we can subconsciously program ourselves to have a dream of some sort which brings about the end result we desire. As in the dream I had about being, I suppose 'initiated,' was just what I have been needing to experience in real life. Now a lot of things make much more sense to me. But that needs to go to the magick thread. **A quote from John: ?I believe in everything until it's disproved. So I believe in fairies, the myths, dragons. It all exists, even if it's in your mind. Who's to say that dreams and nightmares aren't as real as the here and now?? - John Lennon Happy Dreaming!

I have to say that reading all of this about dreams, it actually led me to have a dream about Paul... now how is that for a subliminal idea... I asked him about Linda in the dream. Kittay, I know what you mean about astral travel and stuff like that. You just have to free your mind. I've had a few experiences like that myself, even through hypnosis.

What did Paul say?

Unexpectedly I dreamed I was attending a Paul concert in Liverpool, last night. I didn't get to the good stuff though, it just showed me traipsing around Liddypool (in a woods part at first, looked lovely) and then trudging through a grittier part trying to find the big venue. I got there and it was packed to the rafters with crowds waiting in line. One Pool bloke was rude to me, but others were alright. I never got to the fun concert part Made me recall, the next morning (today) that time I went to a Loggins and Messina concert. I hadn't thought about them in a very long time. I remember Kenny trying to flirt with girls in the front row, well he wasn't just trying, he kept looking down at them and smiling real big--might have been picking out groupies for afterwards, LOL.

The ol' brain and subconscious have been very busy--I even woke up feeling a bit exhausted from all the dream action lately, LOL. Last night I seemed to catch glimpses of myself in past lives (if reincarnation is true, I suspect it might be) looking completely different but I was still "me" inside and knew I was me. The outer trappings, the external shell and situations differed. In one I was a sophisticated rather mature Londoner with a really nice apartment with big windows about to seduce (in a classy way) a younger guy who'd dropped by for a drink. "You can have anything you want" I proclaimed (I must have kept an extensive private bar!) and he looked eager and up for it. But then another man barged in and messed up the plan. The first guy and I looked rueful. (I'm glad I had more fun in a past life!) In another glimpse I was a tall blonde with very long hair, but can't remember what happened. These dreams were fairly startling. Night before I dreamed I was at a Rolling Stones rehearsal in a Masonic Lodge in a small South Carolina town. I asked them why they practiced there, and one said they would play that night in Raleigh. Ronnie Wood asked me to stay with them (he thought I was a band aid !). The band was lined up on stage playing. Jagger looked rough. Suddenly Brian Jones appeared in the middle with a bright golden glow around him, playing an exotic instrument! Looking like an apparition from Heaven! That's all I can recall of that one. In another dream that night I went back to college again as a student. I didn't know how I'd fit in with the kids, but I still look pretty young, and they accepted me as one of them. In the dorm I didn't know how I'd be able to stand all the noise! I kept going from one floor to another in the big old ugly dorm looking for my dorm room. Going up and down stairs and sometimes using a small scary elevator. This search seemed to take forever. In one dorm room, a cute boy confronted me looking at me earnestly, he liked me. I thought "oh Lord what's gonna happen with this," LOL

Great dream Susy! Funny one too. Sounds like a great time. (btw: I took down my dream I had of Linda as I did not want to offend anyone, but the dream I had was a real occurrence, I just think I will keep private ones like that to myself from now on. ) Peace & Love 2 ALL!

thanks, kittay. I didn't get to read your dream about Linda. PM it to me, if you want, thanks

My parents kept popping up in dreams lately, even my paternal grandfather. They've all passed on. So I welcome and treasure nocturnal dreamscape visits from them...several of these lately, occurring several nights in a row, though...wondered if I'm going to join them in the Great Beyond soon and that's why I dreamed that? Also dreamed recently that I had an affair with Ryan O'Neal (for some odd reason) but not the cute version, him when he was all puffed up and bloated--and I resembled a soap opera actress from "The Bold and The Beautiful" in the dream and was both her and myself, somehow--with the long dark hair--I thought upon waking up Yikes was this a sign I'll get the Big C like Mama did, soon, like in the movie "Love Story" Ali MacGraw and O'Neal did together? Then consoled myself with the knowledge my mother set a great, stoic, brave example to follow. I don't want to shed this mortal coil anytime soon because I've got a sister who needs me a great deal. Fearing facing the final curtain can make a wildness rise up in you. And frustration from still having the same limitations and restrictions it's hard to break away from (maybe the Spirit chafes against physical restraints at times, wants to escape?)... tonight I might peer at pix of Paul Mc. right before falling to sleep, might have a fun dream about him, again (LOL).

I've dreamed about going to Paul's Scottish farm before, too. But last night, and maybe this won't be very interesting to anyone else, I dreamed yet again I was in college looking for my dorm and walking for miles over a huge sprawling varied campus that looked more like a night time European cityscape, London or Vienna than a U.S. college campus. It featured all kinds of visual exciting points of interest. I wore a very cute outfit and hat. Everybody was so young and really hoppin' and at one point I was in a boys' dorm asking for directions, which rocked like an Animal House party. I walked and walked coming across some funky scenes. I like to walk in real life, but really get a workout trudging along for many miles, in dreams.

Dream: A. struggles to climb up a difficult play recreational rock climber fake hill. I place a ladder against it for A. to scamper up its facade to the top, more easily. Dream reminded me I don't want him to have a hard life. Nor did I back then. Nightmare snippets: Savage hungry lions and tigers rush at me and tear out bloody chunks of my thighs and legs (flashback to a long ago life as an early Christian thrown to the lions for the enjoyment of Romans? Possibly?). That's all I remember about that one. I don't usually have nightmares, but in a very recent scene from a nightmarish (in parts) dream, a lady sneaked up behind me and raised a big mallet fixing to bash my noggin, but I got away. The rest of that dream was different. Odd (but kind of peachy!) dream entailed Matt Damon and I swanning about on a gigantic fancy cruise ship docked in the French Riviera (nice work if you can get it!)--right before falling asleep I had been reading about his new movie "The Martian" and decided I might want to see it. Hence Matt Damon popping up to escourt me, in my dream. We toured the huge top of the line cruise ship, and at one point briefly encountered Paul Mc. and Long Tall Sally. Matt and I moved on to an ornate cocktail party, everyone all dressed up except for me, casual in red blue jeans and a plaid shirt, hair scooped up in a high pony tail. My hair was light brown, rather than my usual dark tresses. Matt kept hugging and kissing me (nice work if you can get it!). I'm not an avid fan of his in waking reality though.
