Ok, that one came out of nowhere. That's mega. He's really doing the big, iconic festival slots these days. Glastonbury 2004, Isle Of Wight 2010 were his only festivals then. Since that time, Coachella, Bonnaroo, and many other (less iconic) festivals in the US, now Roskilde and Lollapalooza. Jeez, if he wouldn't have hit Europe this summer this would be the one to attend, I guess. Although the rest of the line-up is pretty patchy on first glance.

I knew one day he would play Lolla, once it was obvious he was hitting all of the festivals. This one is big and muddy and tickets go fast. The 3 day passes sold out in an hour yesterday. I hate festivals...

I am doing the Grateful Dead shows at Soldier Field 4th of July weekend; if it wasnt for that I might of hit this one up-hoping Sir Paul isnt just doing the festival circuit in the States this summer

hoping Sir Paul isnt just doing the festival circuit in the States this summer
Doubt it... I have no info but I doubt they'd get all the gear out for two separate dates

I'll be front and center!!! I can walk to Grant Park. Just need a single day pass-perfect. Anyone else lining up at the crack of dawn to get in first? Now who's seen Lucy?

Ever since Coachella I've been thinking this is the year he comes to Lolla. I remember having this dream about it - then I went to the Green Concert in Atlanta and it was almost exactly like my dream (Memory Almost Full songs were on the setlist). So I thought maybe that was what I dreamt. This is the first year I wasn't thinking he'd do Lolla and bam! he goes and surprises me

Good luck getting your tickets! Onsale happening now!

Got em! Can't believe Paul is coming back to Chicago. That's four out of the last five years (between Chicago and Indy) that he's played where I live. I can't BELIEVE this luck!!!! See you all there!

Sold out!

The one day I sleep in... Woke up to 26 text messages of people telling me about this. Ugh!

Great news! I've never been to a festival, but it sounds like an interesting experience.

I had to get mine on stubhub $150 and $158 so not super bad considering face is $110. I'll pay the premium to see him in my town with my Beatle friends that can't get more expensive seats at the regular concerts. Now I just need to calm down so I can get back to work : : :

I found me one as well (on eBay) for $150. I'm happy considering I'd typically spend twice that to see Macca!

Still impressed, what a great booking (both sides). And what a privilege to see McCartney in an unbeatable festival environment. Considering Roskilde for that reason, but that's really too much in one period. Like said line-up bit patchy in comparison with previous years, but it's an off year for festivals in the US anyway. A few unmissable acts during the weekend: BADBADNOTGOOD, sensational jazz live act:
DMA's, bringing back acoustic-based Britpop like it's 1994: Father John Misty, with one of the most impressive albums of this year so far: Flying Lotus, insanely talented producer, and who knows Captain Murphy will come along as well, wink wink: Stromae, I think it's more show than music, with the theatre and ugly Eurodance-beats, but he's an arena act and festival headliner over here, so if you like to seen an impressive show: Tame Impala, needs no introduction, it will be packed, finally back with the third album around that time, but for the select few who aren't familiar with the psychedelic rock and love themselves that Sgt. Pepper-bass:
