Amsterdam - Ziggo Dome - June 7 & 8, 2015 - ARCHIVE
-
NeilP:
I just bought a ticket for Mark Knopfler at the Ziggo Dome on June 6th (a great warm-up for PM on the 7th!) through ticketmaster.nl. I ordered on Sunday night and it was delivered on Wednesday - but the UK is much closer to the Netherlands than Brazil!
Thank you for the info. I'll be at home until May 18, so if my McCartney ticket is sent within the next 14 days I guess there will be enough time to deliver it.

Should have anticipated the second show! Unfortunately it's too late to change some travel plans!

Same here, booked my flight just a couple of hours before the announcement

I think this is a unique opportunity for the board members from all countries who will be in Amsterdam to meet. Perhaps those who live in the city can recommend a place for us to meet, have luch and a nice chat before the concert? Maybe we can even go to the venue afterwards. It's general audience, so it would be easy for us to watch the concert together, and quite close to the stage.

beyond that question we should check if we could create a special "bigger" fan action l(ke that one in warsaw)?

Got flight, hotel and great seat for less than £280.... So thats 3 macca concerts for me. Birmingham, Liverpool and Amsterdam (8TH). Happy Days
-
Thankfully, my flight out of Amsterdam is on Tuesday morning so I could attend the concert. Still undecided because of my financial situation, though.
-
Obviously, my reservations didn't last long. I just bought a GA ticket for Sunday, too.
-
I've been told by Ticketmaster NL that tickets to the second concert will be sent this week. I suppose tickets to the first concert will be sent at the same time. They also told me that if my ticket does not arrive on time they will send an e-ticket for me to print at home. I suggest contacting them on twitter, as they usually reply immediately, unlike their e-mail customer service.

Yes, I told you there shouldn't be any worry. And as said, they always send out their tickets almost instantly. Will check the mail box when I'm home. Also, another thing as predicted, tickets for both gigs still available. Complete second balcony available for the second gig, standing tickets on sale for both gigs.

yes!! I'd love to do some sort of audience thing. Would balloons be too hard? Or like Warsaw some signs?

GA tickets for the first show were already sold out last week. You can still select the tickets though and put them in your basket but when you check out the system says "tickets not available"....(at least via Ticketmaster that is the case)....

That's right, and I have just received an e-mail from CrowdSurge regarding my GA ticket for the first concert. They said I can pick it up at the venue, as I had requested.

Correct, but as of when I posted they were available again. There are transactions getting cancelled all the time. Plus they probably already estimated those outrageously priced packages aren't going to sell that well in The Netherlands, so those tickets get back on sale as well.

1000 signs with 'Big Barn Bed, please' after he gets into the well-worn story about George Harrison?

We need short messages and that could really works. Big barn bed that's a good idea! What's about a further "new" song? I believe he did "Aligator" at less one time on soundcheck (2013 tokyo?) That's a song we could ask for too. Maybe an idea for the second show

Arrived.

Nice! I thought you were going to use the "print-at-home" system. Hopefully mine will arrive within the next couple of weeks.

Second show still not sold out. Even GA/Floor standing tickets are still available, 14 days after the sale started.
