Very sure . First time in Amsterdam since 1972.

YAY for you!
-
very cool. I checked for hotels and the Holiday Inn Arena Towers seems to be the closest. Booked the flight, just need a ticket now
-
Just curious: do the fans in Europe usually book hotels and flights before knowing for sure they will get a concert ticket?
-
It's pretty crazy he hasn't played Amsterdam in 43 years. Wow. Congrats!
-
Oh well, hotels can be cancelled free of charge. And what to do when the airline tells you only 3 more seats available? We normally get the ticket first. But it won't be a problem buying a ticket in Europe, except for the UK

Sure, once the dates are confirmed. Getting the tickets is the last worry, especially with standing tickets.

At least this is in the Dutch tradition: ? 129 (1e rang) ? 115 (2e rang) ? 95 (3e rang) ? 85 (4e rang) Still very expensive, but not bizarrely steep.

Count me in!

Does that mean the pre-sale for all EU/UK concerts will be done at Paul's website and general sales throught the local ticket companies? Also, the "will call" option in South America means you can get your tickets at the box offices, starting a few days before each concert, up to showtime. What about in Europe and the UK?

Yes and no, the pre-sale at McCartney's website will probably just a "hidden" - though just accessible for all once you have it - link through the local ticket companies. It was like that in 2012 over here, and a few other gigs I attended in Europe. Won't be hard to snap up standing tickets over here, for these prices. I think Rotterdam (15,000-ish capacity venue) never sold out, standing tickets only few weeks in advance, if I remember correctly.

So you think I should create an account at Ticketmaster NL? Over here Paul's pre-sales are done by CrowdSurge, through his website. Amsterdam and Paris pre-sales will be at the same time, do you think tgere will be time to complete both transactions?
