?Take Metro-North to Paul McCartnery ? yeah, yeah, yeah!? NY MTA misspells McCartney..haha... http://transportationnation.org/2011/07/12/baby-were-amaazed-nyc-mta-misspells-paul-mccartney/

Full moon Friday night!!!

Parking is going to be very costly. I looked up the parking for the two show on the website of the parking lot contractor (the stadium doesn't operate them) and the cost is going to be about $50 to park EACH NIGHT.

Weather for Friday high of 84 low of 69, partly cloudy, pretty much the same for Saturday. Should be in the low 70's around 800. Pretty good weather for a weekend in July in NYC, at the great Yankee Stadium for the even greater Mr. Paul McCartney! Should be a very special night !!!! 2 long days left!

Does anyone know if all of the other sections of Yankee Stadium will be open before the concert, so there is something to do if you get there early?
If you are a baseball fan and it is open, check out "monument park". Yankee Stadium also has a Hard Rocke Cafe so you may want to check out the merchandise.

Friday Night, New York City, Paul McCartney, Yankee Stadium! Music in the air, happy fans everywhere! Anyone want to meet for a drink?
-
Thanks, Yankeefan! I know there's lots to see and do at the stadium, I'm just hoping it will be open to us. Of course, we will also be hoping to catch the famous Paul arrival wave before the show, if we can find the right entrance for it! Should be a great time: weather looks like it will be nice, a beautiful full moon, and Paul!

Has anyone ever sat in the A2 or a6 seats? I'm wondering what the view is like and if it is too far off to the side to be able to see well. Thoughts?
-
Did anyone post the special MTA Metro North info just for the concert? You can find it here: http://www.mta.info/mnr/html/yankees/yankee_mcCartney.htm
-
Need more details about what stadium or arena you are referring to!
-
im assuming Yankee Stadium. I havent sat there personally. (Has there even been any shows yet at the new Yankee Stadium yet?) But I've been in similar located seats in other venues. Not very good. VERY far off to the sides.
-
Exactly. Yankee Stadium but I think the configuration is the same for Macca anywhere. That is what I thought far and off to the side - thanks so much for your thoughts : )
-
I am in section A2...looks like it is on the piano side...
-
To clarify my earlier post a bit, it's probably not that bad if you're closer to the "A3" side of the aisle. But if you're closer to "A1", it's probably not so good.

I can't wait to see the new setlist..keeping my hopes up for Maybe I'm Amazed, Junk, Every Night, Coming Up and Waterfalls..don't think it's too much to ask..
