The look on her face when Paul put his arms around her was priceless!

You can't judge the crowd based on what you see from the videos posted by the person from the MMT post above. As I mentioned, they are far back, and far to the right, basically outside of the main viewing area by the concessions. Most of the people you see are going to/from the restroom or getting another beer, etc. Unbelieveable of course, but many do it at all Paul concerts that I have been to. Overall the crowd was very young, and obviously heavy smokers, but they were singing Hey Jude walking out of the festival through the tunnel

The majority of the people around us were wonderful and very nice, had some great conversations with them and I could tell they were really enjoying Paul. We had a not so nice incident before Paul took the stage when two already drunk guys started picking on/harassing the girl sitting in front of us for no reason at all. Me, my friend, and the woman next to us had to start yelling at these two guys to get away and leave her alone. They finally went on their drunken way. We also had the typical people trying to push their way closer and getting in front of us and others, but overall it was still a very enjoyable evening! You must have been walking through that tunnel the same time as we were with the "Hey Jude" singalong.

MMT with a slightly different beginning...

Ya' know, if Paul is going to publicly denounce marijuana, he should really stop the "oh, something smells good out there" quips.

He was doing the same thing at AT&T in 2010. Even his weed gags have become schtick... :

WOW when was the last time he dropped All My Loving from a full gig?

Yesterday had a real string quartet. It was beautiful!

60's aside - That's probably the nicest performance of Yesterday I've heard. Seriously.

I loved the version from Concert for New York! Recorded it (on VHS) and replayed it so much that the tape broke Glad it's back on youtube. I agree with you on the winner of the worst though.

I'm pretty sure that Paul was hoarse at the Concert For NYC thing. And, yeah, despite turnin' the mutha' out earlier that night ("Fine Line"/"Helter Skelter"), his '06 Grammy performance of "Yesterday" with Linkin Park was a nice thing to see -- but he was upstaged by LP's much-younger singer. 1997's Montserrat performance of "Yesterday" was almost perfect, but Paul ran out of breath near the end, and his voice broke. He's sounded great at the concerts I've personally attended.
