Yoko just tweeted:

Mr. Kim Jong-in & Mr. Moon Jae-in, I am so happy that you guys did it. I saw my husband, John Lennon, jumping around in space with joy. This I hope is the start of all countries shaking hands ½
and
More
One world one people. I hope this will be a start in what my husband and I believed in. I’m sure it will happen soon. Peace is power! I love you, Yoko Ono Lennon 2/2
and
More
I celebrate the efforts North and South Korea are making. I hope that all countries will learn from them, and one day there will be no countries, except people with love. love, yoko

It’s unbelievable what has happened with those two countries. I can hardly believe it! I’m extremely happy and hope this is the tipping point of more Peace ful Revolutions to come!

I agree (smile).

Went back and looked at Yoko’s original tweet and she did spell Kim Jong-un’s name wrong.
Mr. Kim Jong-in & Mr. Moon Jae-in,
I am so happy that you guys did it.
I saw my husband, John Lennon, jumping around in space with joy.
This I hope is the start of all countries shaking hands ½(and what’s with the “1/2” after that tweet and the “2/2” after the other one?)

Puzzled. How is Yoko's spelling significant? Everyone knows who she meant. Normally, one of two and two of two means just that. She is indicating that there are two tweets on the same topic. Since there were three, maybe she didn't want to link the first one.

I'm sure if John Lennon had lived, that he'd be continually working for world peace and nuclear disarmament, etc, it was something he really believed in. With the news of the Korean peace talks, I can understand how Yoko would be thinking of John and want to celebrate how his life and music has made a difference in this cause. It's a shame he was taken from us too soon, he really could have made a difference in promoting world peace.

Of course we knew who she meant! Kim Jong-un might not be so forgiving. And the first 1/2 looked like “one-half” to me, therefore the confusion. Never saw anybody do that either.

I have a hard time picturing John jumping around in space with joy.

The Spirit of The Olympic Goodwill Games is 70% responsible for this new peace effort in process.

Seriously, Nancy? You thought I rewrote Yoko's tweet and spelled his name wrong on purpose and then misrepresented her by saying it was her tweet? You DEFINITELY need some time off from your self-appointed "Spelling Cop"role.

Look, we already adressed this! Of course I didn’t think you spelled his name wrong on purpose! I was wondering if YOKO had spelled it wrong and she did. You DEFINITELY need to get over your paranoia.

Paranoid? I hardly think so. Your message was loud and clear:

This is the post I was quoting when I was referring to your paranoia. Not the one you just quoted!

First of all this is the Peace thread. We’re all adults and we all love Paul, Peace!
We probably don’t need any spelling police because we are out of school. Let’s overlook the minor things and try to lift each other up, by being more positive... we’re all here because we love Paul, so let’s kiss and make up!
Peace and Love to all and don’t sweat the small stuff!!! Or as Paul sings: “Ac-cent-tchu-ate the Positive!”
