USPS Has John Lennon Stamp

The United States Postal Service will issue a very cool looking John Lennon stamp. It's great he is honored and remembered in this way. He deserves it.

You're Welcome Nancy! And Yes, John And Everyone...We Did Notice That Hawaii's Volcano Goddess Woke Up On May 3rd, Which Is Also The U.S. National Day Of Prayer. What Ever Is She Trying To Tell The Human Race???
"In the Hawaiian religion, Pele (pronounced [ˈpɛlɛ]), the Fire Goddess, is the goddess of fire, lightning, wind and volcanoes and the creator of the Hawaiian Islands."

Too bad so few people use the USPS anymore. Not than many people will even be aware.

Belated recognition from the government that tried to deport him. Call me uncharitable, but I'd like to put that stamp on a letter, send it to Richard Nixon in Hell (where I presume he resides) and say "f*** you for trying to deport John."
-
When will it be released?

Just found this...
"The John Lennon commemorative “Forever Stamp” will be issued on September 7th by the United States Postal Service (USPS). The stamps will be issued in a pane of 16"

I can't remember the last time I bought a stamp.

Who would you rather have, Tricky Dicky or Donny Johnny?

I'd rather have Donny join Nixon in Hell and have almost anyone else. Trump is Nixon without the charm and common sense.

Yeah, he had the common sense to resign rather than be impeached!

Nixon may have been his own worst enemy, but he was intelligent and knew how the government and diplomacy worked. And he could form a coherent sentence.

I'm sure this was completely intentional, but some of our international visitors might not realize that Nixon had as much charm as a baked potato.

The forever may have been crossed out because some jerk took John's life away...so it is not "forever".

That is not going to be crossed out on the actual stamp, is it? I have seen it both ways. I guess we’ll find out on Sept. 7th.

Strange that it is the same date as the release date for Egypt Station.

It will not be crossed off on the bonafide stamps. And, yet another clue for us all on the release date
