Last night was unbelievable! I cried so much. The girl who got her tattoo signed was so lovely, it helped soothe some of my jealousy at not getting picked...! Paul definitely looked right at me and read my sign, so that's good enough for me. For now anyway! What a perfect night. Nothing else compares to being on the floor at a Paul show. I can never go back to the stands after this!
She is indeed lovely and a dear friend, I all but cried when she tagged me on Facebook to let me know the good news!

Her excitement was infectious! If it couldn't be me this time 'round, I'm glad it was her

Before the show in Regina, Paul went for a bike ride around the lake in town. Because that's what you do when you're 71 years old, and you've got some time to kill before giving a one-hour soundcheck and a nearly three-hour concert. You go for bike ride. I'll have whatever he's having, that's for sure.

NO PHOTOS of this show except 5 or 6 newspaper-type ones. Didn't anyone take a nice big Flick'r page full of them? How sad! All Paul's other "Out There" shows had 50-100 photos from loving fans. Its a shame the Canadians didn't feel that way about him too!

Huh??? What does not coming to this site to show you their flickr pictures have to do with how Canadians feel about Paul??? Regina is a small town, probably not a lot of people who come to this forum. Sorry that everyone who sold out this show didn't rush on here to share their pictures with you. Sorry, but as a Canadian, that post rubbed me the wrong way.

I was surprised at first about the posts...or non posts. but I have seen posts on FB about it,so it looks like Paul's fans from the area are just not on here. Not that Canadians don't feel the same way about Paul... As a 1/2 Canadian , I felt those comments were wrong too.

Hey, at least I got 2 more people to post. And I wasn't talking about just here. I meant Google Images...there should be TONS of pix there from every Paul site imaginable, and there just isn't!

I was too busy enjoying the music to take a bunch of pictures. And what my wife and I did take, ended up on facebook, where people I know personally can see them. I think your criteria for determining how enthusiastic we were about the concert are a little out of whack.

I was so caught up in the moment that I forgot to take a single photo. Paul completely mesmerized me from start to finish... which makes me less of an enthusiastic fan? That's a bit of a leap, and a little insulting too.

So, these remixed Beatles tracks that they play before shows, like right now, I heard that freelance hellraiser did them, I know they haven't been released officially, but has someone gotten a hold of them and bootlegged them in the past? I'd be surprised if this hasn't happened.
http://ashtarcommand.blogspot.ca/2009/04/paul-mccartney-coachella-dj-set.html not the new stuff, but the stuff from last tour. Chris says he is working on doing an official release but lots of hoops to jump through with publishing rights (as u could imagine)

There are a ton of pictures if you look, especially on the "Welcome McCartney to Regina" Facebook page that ehwalled created. I also posted a lot on my blog: http://chelsisvintagevision.wordpress.com/2013/08/25/one-sweet-dream-came-true-today-2/ The fact that there aren't many pictures in the press shouldn't determine the Canadians' love for Macca. The audience in Regina was CRAZY EXCITED - I've never been to a McCartney concert with a more pumped up crowd. You have to remember that Regina is a small city, and our province has just over 1 million people. At the time of the show, the population of the stadium, 40 000, was the 3rd biggest city in the province!

Indeed Chelsi, Macca made the newspaper 5 days in a row! I think we were a tad excited.
