THE 'FRESHEN UP' TOUR 2018
-
After carrying on so like a giddy hyper- excited half-crazed harpy, I may have decided to just get a "nosebleed" ticket for Raleigh. I'm as poor as Job's house cat. On the other hand, this IS Macca; and also, seeing him might inspire me to write more of my own songs. He seems to serve as one of my muses, in a way, for my own would-be creative efforts. But if I go the nosebleed route, at least the stagecraft uses those ginormous tall big screens on each side, which focus on the big star, right? And I can get binoculars. I'll get kind of dizzy way up there, maybe, but I'll be dizzy with excitement anyway.

I can't believe how little buzz there is on here about these dates. The only one I can do per my schedule is Lexington, KY but I'm going to hold out. It seems to me like they announced this cluster now because they are weaker markets and want to give them time to sell. However, I would think that a new record and a late night apperance this week could mean more dates to come? I would be st unned if he came over for these five odd ball shows at the beginning of the summer and did nothing else. Also put my name in the hat for Friday night in NYC...we'll see!

Susy, did you get any tickets? I’m going to Greenville!

I'm gonna get my old rock n roll Chevy working and on the road again, take it to Raleigh, explore the city after the song and dance man leaves after his concert, for almost a week. Assuage the let down over Macca magic's departure (but a "high" from his exhilarating show will linger for days, to help with that greatly!). Gonna have a ball selecting used books from Goodwill stores, which have the best used books; this will be a "hooley for one" (Liverpudlian for "party"), I love to do this. I'm gonna shell out for a ground floor ticket, try to get the best bang for the buck; perhaps I'll wind up not too far from the stage and the Magic Macca Man (smiley face) !! I've got plans ! Hot dawg this is something really big to look forward to, "fun for the future" as Paul Mc. would remark. "Don't be careless Luv" and be there, or risk being square. I'm still gobsmacked the very first U.S. venues for his new Freshen Up Tour (that title reminds me to use deodorint and mouthwash! LOL) are in the creepy ol' South, Dixieland (which can also be a beautiful, charming and funny place, not just creepy and weird) !

Sorry, but you missed the presale. General public tickets:

I have a ticket, "seat one, row nine" on the ground floor, Raleigh PNC Arena, hoping it's a good location but now wondering if it's stuck way on the end, I should have looked at the layout chart at the PNC site before calling. Could only get through to an automated voice. Ticket's being sent snail mail

What section though? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 9? I can tell you exactly then.

They changed the way the seating chart looks and that damn small stage is still there!

The darn automated voice didn't say what section !! Damn, I assumed it was a straightforward nine rows from the front, in the front. I wish I could have talked to an actual real person ! Somebody on another site said they thought this seat sounds pretty good. I went to the PNC arena site while ago to view their seating chart, and couldn't make head nor tails of it. This ticket cost a whopping three hundred bucks but will be so worth it, very much so !! They're sending it via snail mail, I didn't spring for UPS fee

Call Ticketmaster customer service. They should be able to look up the order from your phone number and last 4 digits of your credit card. And they could give you the exact seating location. And if you wanted to change your delivery method to UPS, or even to Print-At-Home, they could do that too. TM CS number is 1-800-653-8000.

Wow, bless your heart, Luvvie, course they won't change my seat, but they can describe the exact location and I will know for sure.
If it turns out I don't like it, it isn't fair; I don't think they let anybody talk to a real person in order to ask more detailed questions and find out stuff when ordering the tickets

If you only paid $300, there is no way the seat is in sections 1, 2, 3. Probably not even 4, 5 or 6. Those seats range from $600 to $2000. We paid $700 each and are in the 4th Row of the 2nd section up from the stage (stage left) Greenville section 102.

I’m curious if he’ll play Nashville. I have my doubts...he was here in 2013. It drives me nuts how he never releases all his dates at once.
