LOVED THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, that was good fun. And so good to finally have pro-shot footage and desk sound of some of the new songs he put in for One on One like A Hard Day's Night, Love Me Do etc.
I kinda wish I'd thought to capture the audio as it was going just in case it's not available afterwards but I'm sure someone will have done it.
-
Well, voice was pretty rough...good crowd...good NEW songs...cool move with "From Me To You"... a damn shame to have those horns there, in NYC, and NOT do "Despite Repeated Warnings"...by far the standout track on Egypt Station after two listens.
-
I've not heard the album yet. It's only midday here but I want to buy the CD anyway so I might not hear it until later this week when I can get into the city to buy it with a JB Hi Fi gift card that's been sitting in my bag for 2 years and expires this month!
The new songs did sound good. I really liked the bullying song (presumably called 'Who Cares?'). I was worried it might sound a bit cringey but it really didn't. And even Fuh You sounded good with the band. I still think the 'I just wanna fuh you' line doesn't make sense in context with the rest of it, whether it is that or the "sanitised" version of 'I just want it for you'. Still, when did songs have to make sense?

Show was lots of fun, the three new songs sounded awesome live. Couple forum members with me!! Time for bed!

I torally enjoyed that concert on youtube. I liked Who Cares song the best. I wished I could have told him my story about being bullied. I was bullied all through my school years but I got bullied the worst during grades 6,7,and 8. Kids are just mean. Luckily I had Paul's music as my safehaven where no body can hurt me with their words. Paul's songs protect me from feeling hurt or sad.Paul's songs help me look on the positive side of things and also help me feel better about myself.

That was boardie Alvita up there (black girl) telling her bullying story. She’s been onstage with him before and got his autograph on her back which she had tattooed. Met her at AROTR about 6 years ago and saw it.

Saw you! So it seems that they took everyone's phones away? I didn't see one held up during the entire broadcast, which I think is a good thing. Besides not allowing anyone to record it, I'm sure it would have looked horrible on the stream to see nothing but arms and phones in the air!

We had to put our phones into a magnetic pouch that was locked until we got out. We kept the pouches but obviously had no access to the phones.

Yes, phones were locked up and no cameras!! Anybody that knows me, knows I felt naked without my camera!!! Fun show though!!!
