Saw you! So it seems that they took everyone's phones away? I didn't see one held up during the entire broadcast, which I think is a good thing. Besides not allowing anyone to record it, I'm sure it would have looked horrible on the stream to see nothing but arms and phones in the air!

We had to put our phones into a magnetic pouch that was locked until we got out. We kept the pouches but obviously had no access to the phones.

Yes, phones were locked up and no cameras!! Anybody that knows me, knows I felt naked without my camera!!! Fun show though!!!

What a great show! Wasn't lucky enough to get in, but was very appreciative of the broadcast. I have a special connection to Grand Central Terminal and have walked through Vanderbilt Hall hundreds of times, never thinking that the little space would ever hold a Paul McCartney concert. Wish I would have definitely known that it was at GCT in advance (but hey, I did predict it when Bob asked for our most creative places to host an Egypt Station small gig)!
My feedback regarding the live broadcast...camera angles were a bit odd at times, but that naturally comes with a live stream. I thought the new songs sounded great and particularly liked the trombone/trumpet/sax for Letting Go and Lady Madonna. And, of course, the "parting of the sea" for Paul for Blackbird. One of those instances where you get the sense of what a genuinely awesome person he is, especially when he instructed his security team not to push the audience further back from his mini podium. I actually didn't notice the little mistake at the end of the song, but got a chuckle when I rewatched. Also surprised that he didn't do Hey Jude, but hey, it's good that he didn't feel like he "had" to do it to appease the live audience (and millions watching online). For those who were standing in the main terminal, were you able to hear most of the songs or was the sound really muffled?
And damn, Bob, you had a great view! Was that the closest you've ever been to McCartney? Tell your source that Rubber Soul13 wants to come along to the next small gig show, too!

Yeah, all you guys were front & center! Nice. I'd love to be at such an intimate gig.
