Did he bring anybody on-stage tonight, does anyone know? I've had a hard time finding consistent periscopes.

He did. Looked like a young boy with another "sign my mom" sign.

Too bad the setlist was the same. Oh well. How was his voice?

His voice was fine tonight. Slight strain from the night before but more than acceptable. He will keep doing MAYBE I'M AMAZED as he got a standing ovation tonight after it and he seemed touched by that. When he introduced NEW I swear I was the only one who clapped in the whole place. Come on people respect the "NEW " songs. Next show for me is Hershey

Exactly, switching back and forth for a couple of songs especially when you are playing the same city multiple times should be done IMO.

And I agree with you, Sir.

Most people are there to see "Beatle Paul" and not Paul McCartney which is the reason you were the only one clapping for "New". Unfortunately, Mr. McCartney takes this to "heart" and thinks he has to do almost an entire "oldie" show. As somebody who has loved his solo career I thank you for appreciating his latest recording which I believe is about 3 yrs old now. Yes, Mr. McCartney got a standing ovation for "Maybe I'm Amazed" but it was not due to his vocal performance. It is one of his signature songs and it helps when he says this one is for Linda. Myself and others want him to stop because he is not doing it well and maybe it is strain on his voice.

                      Maybe I'm amazed !!

This goes to a point I made earlier, most don't go to hear Paul in concert any more, they go to SEE him, to see the legend, the Beatle spectacle. It is his doing. He has turned his touring machine into that. Not sure there is ever going back.

He may have been the only one in the front row clapping for the New songs but there are lots of us in the other rows who clap and sing for those songs, and he does see us, too. But yes, much of the audience loves the Beatle songs. It is what it is. I had a girl in front of me at night 1 that squealed "that is a BEATLE" a bunch of times after he came out.

I had printed a banner for one show that had lots of bootleg cover pics on it & solo songs. Little kids behind me were singing all the Beatley stuff. At the end of the show I gave them the banner & also gave them homework! I told them to look up a few of his solo numbers! haha

My only problem with the Prince tribute, is the placement of the song. It's looking pretty likely that the death was due to a Percocet overdose.... So having the tribute juxtaposed to the end of Hi Hi Hi, a song which basically is a love letter to... er... getting high, just seems slightly insensitive.

Exactly. 3 songs in and BAM! - Can't Buy Me Love with early Beatles projected all over the back of stage screens. And so the scene is set...

I don't believe Price was taking medications to get high. The stories in the media seem to indicate he was in a lot of pain and may have gotten addicted to painkillers, not just to get high. I have heard stories that he was very clean with regards to doing drugs and drinking at parties, etc. and that sort of thing. I think Paul just put the song into Hi Hi Hi because it fit, musically (which it did, perfectly).
