I worry about the media in Europe, they tend to be less kind.
Is the show over, will check and see if I can find a review tomorrow
-
You mean more honest? I worry about Paul more than the reviews. Something has got to give on this tour. I just know it. It's not going to end well.
-
Moptops, are you sure you're a Paul Mc. fan??
-
I'd like to see him retire from touring, but still looking forward to the show I have tickets for in August.
-
I don't think repeating the same negative comments are productive. : I hope everyone that attended tonight had a great time!! Looking forward to October!!!!!!!!

Dumb question Susy. I'm willing to stack my bona fides up against yours anytime. Folks around here know me to be outspoken, but nobody suggest I'm not a fan.

And I don't think repeating the same comment about repeating the same negative comments is helpful either. It's a forum where people can post opinions.

This crowd is quiet by any standards never mind South American standards!
Well it's the same old songs pretty much. Who can blame them? And his voice is really bad.
Does he sound any worse tonight than the other nights on the One on One Tour? If not, it will continue and continue.

What do you mean this tour is turning into a train wreck? I just ordered a $700 ticket for Washington D.C. in August. He's playing an arena he hasn't played in for 11 years and I figure this could be the last time he plays that venue. I think the football and baseball stadiums are too enormous for my taste.

5 more months of this? I can't see it. Reckon he'll pull an abort at some stage, under "doctor's orders" blame it on a bug or virus that is "affecting" his voice and BANG refunds issued. This tour is turning into a train wreck. It's embarrassing and sad now. Somebody needs to speak to Paul. More importantly Paul needs to listen.
"This tour is turning into a train wreck. It's embarrassing and sad now. " While I agree with you that the clips I have heard from this tour have not been good IMO, the reviews have not buried him. The reviews have been very positive with maybe a brief mention of his voice difficulties. Like I said in the thread I created, most reviewers are basically fanboys/fangirls of Mr. McCartney. The audiences seem to be very happy with the exception of tonight. If Mr. McCartney says to an audience you are quiet tonight something is going on. Unless this type of attitude continues, this tour will not be a "train wreck" and will move along raking in millions of dollars for Mr. McCartney

Ignore them. They have been complaining about his voice and the setlists nonstop on every thread here. They are entitled to their opinion but there are many people who do not share it. Continue to look forward to your show and evening with Paul. Now do we know whether he did Great Day at this show or not?

Well, If you don't like it, you should just listen to the Wings Over America. You don't have to tell us how bad is this tour or Paul's voice.

Is he wearing jeans?!!! I have never seen him in jeans in these current concerts, not in any of the clips from say, maybe the last 10 years..

Looks like Paul is going for a more "dressed" look now, on and off stage.

How was the concert? Set list?

How was the concert? Set list?
Usual suspects, with the exception of a couple of jams by the band joining the crowd chants. Very funny and interesting!

Paul's voice is REALLY awful tonight, oh man! Plus the crowd not so good for a Latin audience, even Paul said a few songs ago: "you're very quiet"
I was just thinking as I'm watching that the crowd is very quiet compared to normal! Regarding his voice, it's been like that for the entire tour. If anything it sounds a little better on periscope. You're at the gig?
Read the local newspaper review and there is no mention of the quality of his voice and they made it sound like it was very enthusiastic crowd.
