the soundcheck tickets in the US run $1500 (last year) up to $1850.00. I think the front row is $2350.00 at some places. HOT SOUND PACKAGE Package to include: One (1) premium ticket Priority check-in and entrance Invitation to Sir Paul McCartney's sound check Pre-show hospitality reception Commemorative Ticket Limited edition numbered lithograph Merchandise item designed and created exclusively for package purchasers Collectible laminate to remember your evening Onsite check-in staff
So it seems like the VIP prices are varying depending on the market this year? And just a couple dollars either...
You mean NOT just a couple $. The lowest this year for Hot Sound is $1600 (Duluth, GA and Tampa for example) But the New York area ones are $1850!!
Yes...just missed a word! But seriously...this is so far beyond out of hand. The only way I could see myself doing this is if he came to Baltimore (HA!) and I happened to come into an unexpectedly large sum of money the week tickets go on sale.
But that's what your tax refund is for!

I thought we were both going to have nervous breakdowns during that mess! P.S. This is in the wrong thread. Post it in the Duluth one.

I got back $1964 from Federal and my friend in Nashville got back $1700 which she put towards a GOLD VIP.

You got $1964 even? It's a sign, it was meant for Paul!

Yeah, I have friends out west who are wondering!

ACL Fest Lineup is announced next Thursday, May 4th... While Paul is in South America the second weekend, it's not uncommon for a major artist to only play one weekend. The dates are October 6-8 and 13-15. Major artists (while not on the same caliber as Paul) that have only done one weekend include Alabama Shakes, Florence and the Machine, The Strokes, Lorde, etc. They usually have a couple older acts. Over the years, they've had Depeche Mode, The Cure, Neil Young, Stevie Wonder, The Eagles, Robert Plant, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Tom Petty, and more. It's also one of the few major US festivals Paul hasn't played in the last few years. He could play, say , a San Antonio or Houston date beforehand and make those his TX shows.

Yes. 14 (or however many there are :lol is a lot for Paul at one time, but of course there are areas of the US missing, plus no Europe or U.K.. But no rumors are coming out of those places at all. So even if the whole schedule for the year is set, nothing is being leaked yet. Possible that Bob's "wild ride" means lots of shows in Nov/Dec...West Coast US? Europe? UK in December? Gotta wait and see. Right now I've got gigs in July to go to.

Yeah... that's the thing. Of course the thread has gone quiet for now because there are no substantive rumors coming from any other region, except for Brazil at the moment.

Yes, Bob, quiet for now. 5 days between Miami and Tampa shows and Syracuse and Detroit shows??? 4 days between several of the other shows???? Still curious.
-
On Paul's Spotify page, it lists a September 30th show at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit

Makes a person think, doesn't it?

There were already premature links for July 6th in Miami and July 9th in Tampa, so I think they'll probably drop tomorrow once the general sale starts. It looks like some of the other cities have space for that possibility too.

Perhaps the "wild ride" could be more dates in NYC such as Radio City Music Hall and The Beacon Theater?

Doubtful. The NY area is pretty saturated already with Brooklyn, MSG and Nassau.
