Paul's not listed, altho somebody told me that they did hear he might perform at the party.

Canada is celebrating 150th Anniversary in 2017 Would be great to have Paul back in Canada. Also 2017 marks the 375th Anniversary of City of Montreal. http://www.tourisme-montreal.org/blog/montreals-375th-celebrations-2017/ (Paul performed at 400th Anniversary of Quebec City) New Arena in Quebec City opened last year. Hawaii before or after Japan Onen:One?

I seriously doubt Hawaii. Awefully expensive to go so far out of the way for 1 show.

You're absolutely right but what an absolutely bullshit excuse. I can't think about Paul's finances for too long. It really irritates me to no end.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BOuWY73DZ5T/ Here's what Paul did in New Year, while it may've not been a TV Performance it's still cool to see him with The Killers
Actually it was both. As the Japan tour announcement (video message) was shown on New Year's as well as performing with the Killers. And I said all along, very cloudy on what form the appearance would be.

The article was updated since. Either way still plausible.

AEG, an entertainment company that has been involved with many of Paul's tours and concerts including Coachella, is owned by Philip Anschutz. Teen Vogue magazine has an article this week: "Owner of Coachella, Philip Anschutz, Actively Supports Anti-Gay Groups He also supports climate change denying groups" "According to an infographic from The Washington Post, Anschutz has taken some of the profits that he's made and donated them to groups such as the Alliance Defending Freedom, the Family Research Council, and the National Christian Foundation. All three of those groups have been known to campaign against LGBTQ rights, UPROXX points out. For example, the Family Research Council (one of the groups that Anschutz supports) describes itself as a "Pro-Marriage and Pro-Life" organization. Their website shows that it is anti-gay rights, anti-transgender rights, and anti-abortion." "Additionally, Anschutz -- who also happens to be an oil and gas billionaire -- is a "financier of climate science denial groups," according to Greenpeace."

It's all about the money.

As cool as a Hawaii Macca show would be, it'd have to be a benefit or something. I could never see him playing there.

For any reason beyond the financial? Lots of major touring acts, particularly of Macca's age bracket, visit Hawaii on tour.

Ringo played in Hawaii last year, for example.

Maybe that's why his ticket prices went up this year!

Someone has edited together a few videos from Paul's performance of Helter Skelter with The Killers:
By the way, Paul was at Obama's farewell party last night. I wonder which song (or songs) did he play? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4096826/Stevie-Wonder-Paul-McCartney-Nick-Jonas-celebs-arrive-President-Obama-s-final-White-House-Bash.html -

"Michelle" and "Let it Be" are the first two that come to mind. Wasn't Stevie Wonder there? "Ebony and Ivory" and "We Can Work it Out" would seem likely then.
-
Do you think as I am, that Paul won't perform in Europe in 2017? He played everywhere, maybe only not in UK, so this is the only place where - potentially - he will play?

Maybe a cover of Green Day's "Good Riddance"
