Glad to see that he's probably on his way back to Australia after all this time. I will say, as a New Yorker, that if he does come back to America at all in 2017, it's time for him to do a proper gig at MSG. He hasn't played a full show there since 2005...
Agree. He has danced around MSG by performing at pretty much every venue around it...long overdue is an understatement. Would love to see him there.

While I'd love to see him at MSG, I don't think he's been "dancing around it". IIRC, he's played at the Garden 14 times (12 of those were full concerts while on tour and 2 benefits)...more than any other metropolitan area venue.

The 4-CD with booklet is $31.99 from Amazon (U.S.)

that's ~42 Aussie dollars. thanks for finding that out, so postage would probably take it up to 50 Aussie dollars? a saving of 20 buck but I'd have to wait 3 weeks.

I wouldn't be so sure. Shipping from Amazon is horrendous for some reason. I wouldn't be surprised if the shipping is roughly $30 as well.

I phoned my local JB's and they have a copy in even though the website says they don't you can't trust JB's website when it comes to checking your local store. I asked them to hold me the 4CD Pure McCartney, I know $70 is alot of money but I will have plenty of songs to listen to that Paul has chosen

I wanted to get it the 4-CD at release date... one indie store had it a week after that, for 100 AUD. JB had it indeed for 70 AUD, but only followed another week after. They just don't want people to pay for music any more. And then the price for the Archive Releases... Starting at about, converted, 150 USD. You American people are always so lucky. Even back home in Europe it's about the double than what I pay for it at Amazon. I feel bad for my local indie stores, but I just can't justify the regular EU prices.

On his BBC radio 2 breakfast show this morning DJ Chris Evans was auctioning (amongst other things) a VIP box for 20 at the British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park on 30th June-1st July next year. He mentioned that Phil Collins and Green Day have already been confirmed but that another headliner was still to be announced - he said he wasn't allowed to say specifically who, but it is "the biggest pop star on the planet". Now to me that can only mean one person! (Although maybe Paul is no longer considered a "pop star"?). http://www.bst-hydepark.com/

I'm hearing rumours about Justin Bieber headlining on Sunday 2nd July, and not McCartney.

...thanks, Bob. This still opens the possibility of Australia as well.

Not from my go to guy, but from a source that has been right a lot. But I thought the same thing, hoping for all of our Aussie friends that it's a good sign for them finally.

Not that I'm going but its just been announced that the third headline act is Kings of Leon. An ok band but didn't think they were that big a draw. Still at least its not Justin Bieber, lol!

The Kings of Leon have been announced for Thursday 6th June which still leaves another headliner announcement for Sunday 2nd June, which I believe will be Bieber.

Hi everybody out there! Are there some rumours about Macca touring Europe in 2017? Or just Australia rumours at the time?

JUST Australian rumours?! Hehe... For years I was longing for all the cities he finally did in 2016, exactly in the year I wasn't on the continent. I'm not sure how much is left in Europe with the current same old tour, especially after the brutal reviews and festival reactions this year, which I warned for (and anyone could've predicted).
