Paul McCartney 2017 Rumors

I remember last year there was maybe a two week or so period on when the second Washington, DC show was announced. I know there was a lapse. So perhaps Florida will get more shows or maybe Paul will just JET to one of the neighboring islands on the break from Miami to Tampa
EXACTLY!! Glad somebody remembers. Matter of fact I had given up on both shows if you remember because they were so late in being announced. There are still a couple of possibilities, unknown if they will appear or not. Time will tell, but technically they wouldn't be fall shows
That is why I am keeping my Miami reservations intact with that distinct possibility still OUT THERE

I know off topic a bit, but I love the new 2017 Sgt Pepper remix!!!!
I've heard the remix of Sgt Peppers & With a Little Help From My Friends. I really liked it, looking forward to finally hearing the band's instruments a bit more! Don't understand why people are complaining when the original stereo mix is still available.

They've released the demo for Sgt Peppers & WALHFMF & it's really fascinating to hear how the songs progressed. I'll always enjoy hearing Lennon counting in by saying "Sugar plum fairy".

The outtakes are very good as well, it's really a nice sounding set. I've sat through the first 3 disks and will hear the mono mixes today on disk 4 and then start all over for my 2nd listen

According to the Houston Chronicle: And McCartney set some tour dates for this summer, which don't touch down in these parts. He recently added a few second dates in cities he was already planning to play, like Chicago and Detroit. But it looks increasingly like McCartney's One on One tour may not expand further. http://www.chron.com/entertainment/music/article/How-far-would-you-drive-for-Paul-McCartney-11135398.php

I remember being so happy when Paul announced a second DC date. First time I ever got to see Paul two nights in a row.

McCartney's team would never announce something like this.Maybe they will now. ummm but probably not. You look different.

McCartney's team would never announce something like this.Well that is beyond incredibly unprofessional and snobbish.
-
I don't find that snobbish or rude to explain why they couldn't put on shows there this time out. I think this is better than just not playing the U.K. And say nothing.

They could book gigs, maybe not in a 40,000 seat venue...but if they REALLY were concerned about playing in the UK. I think THE ROLLING STONES could find a venue. It's snobbish and rude because what they're actually saying is we don't care about the fans, we care about playing gigantic venues that can make us a TON of money and they aren't available right now so it sucks to be a fan of ours.

Why? If they really wanted to play, they'd find a way to do it. They're just placing the blame elsewhere. It shouldn't have even been mentioned.

The dates are already in stone. If the dates that they could have done were already filled then ist is a very valid reason. They are not placing blame, just giving their fans a reason why they couldn't make it happen. You don't have access to their travel plans and really don't know if they can easily fit it in. Just a ridiculous statement IMO

I don't follow the Stones. Maybe I'm missing something...are they cancelling a tour, or just saying they would like to tour but can't because of these nonsensical reasons? If they're cancelling that's one thing...but there's no reason at all to say "well, we'd like to but..." Where does travel enter the equation? They're not claiming that as a reason. When they only make one reason public (and a BS one at that), they should expect a mixed response.

What's ridiculous? Who in their right mind is going to believe The Rolling Stones...the self-proclaimed biggest rock band in the world, couldn't find venues for a tour? THAT truly is one of the most ridiculous things I have heard!

Whatever dude, keep defending a ridiculous position. But hey, it's no sweat off my back. You have the right to your opinion so go on and take it.
