Great interview! I loved the end where he talks about dreams he’s had of John and George.

Just listened to this interview, and thought it went really well! I got kind of emotional listening to him talk about John and George... and in the last part, when he was asked if he thought his parents would be proud of him. (I'm sure it goes without saying that they would be! ) He also discusses his songwriting, Linda's photography, and times when he met Bob Dylan and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
Paul interviewed by Billy Sloan on BBC Radio Scotland, broadcast December 29, 2018

Interview is in 3 parts (local news, music and interviews from other fans and Scottish musicians are in between each segment)
Part 1 - at 25:00 mark
Part 2 - at 1:32:00 mark
Part 3 - at 2:24:55 mark -
Thanks, Lady Leslie, for reminding us about the broadcast and noting the times of Paul's segments!
As always, it's wonderful to hear Paul himself discuss his memories and to listen to the extra conversations not mentioned in the print interview.

I listened to the entire 3 hours today while I read several Paul and John articles online and caught up with email, FB, etc.
Interesting hearing people’s favorite Paul songs. It’s For You (Cilla Black) was an odd choice, but I liked the song - not even sure I’ve ever heard it before!

You're welcome, Joyce! Always good of you to post links so we know about the interviews in the first place! Thought it was wonderful to hear Paul too, and thought posting the "timestamps" when Paul was interviewed would be helpful, for anyone that wasn't able to listen to the whole 3 hour broadcast.

Glad you liked listening to the broadcast, Nancy! Had never heard "It's For You" either!

The Billy Sloan interviews were re-broadcast on Radio Scotland over Easter so they are available to listen to again (although country restriction may appy). There are links to both here:

There's a mention of the forthcoming Linda McCartney photo exhibition in Glasgow. It runs from July - January:
