Nippon Budokan - Japan - 4/28/15 - ARCHIVE

The Blu Ray is completely awesome, great quality and the audio cd's are good as well.
-
I assume this broadcast, like the Tokyo Dome 2013 and Sao Paulo 2014 shows before it, aren't going to see an official MPL release.

Is there vision of him waving the flags? That is essential.
No flag waving at this show...that's a first! (Unless it was cut out of the video).
Ah...but there IS a massive Japanese flag hanging from the ceiling!

A great vocal performance, and unlike Tokyo '13 no pitch correction at all (on first hearing). That's new! Very surprised, in a very positive way.
So Giles tinkered with Tokyo 13, and I see David Kahne tinkered with Budokan.

Mind boggling ain't it. And yet absolute CRAP like Good Evening New York and The Space Within Us are made available.

shoot I was sent Budokan giddy from Friend Japanese News Source, unable to watch it PC is broken,..... :

Looks like the rising platform is not being used at Budokan. Am I mistaken?
No rising platform.....

Hi Harley...Budokan was a fantastic show! IMO, one of Paul's best performances. Too bad it had a shorter set list...I think Japanese fans would have enjoyed Temporary Secretary!

Yes, no doubt, the gig started over an hour late as ppm queued forever

I like the shorter set list for this! For me it's too bad it didn't have a more ambitious set list!

Wasn't the shorter set vos he was late or something? Anyway I reckon the short set makes Budokan special in its own way and yes, it looks like it was a great show!

I've seen a blu-ray of this Budokan concert proshot (broadcast) in high definition. Fantastic picture and sound. Amazing show! Stripped down, no big production or films. Basic light show. Paul in excellent voice throughout, and the band is on fire. No between song stories and little banter. Few crowd shots. He called it a legendary night. This would be the concert to officially release!

late to this thread got a hold of a blu ray copy. great picture quality, and a fairly good dolby 5.1 track great to see a show without interviews etc etc
