There really isn't much going on re rumors.
yup people need rumours to feed off.
yes, we need some rumors to talk about! Maybe soon...we'll hear something...not soon for a tour.

I was at the show where the your triplets were on stage. It was so cute. what great memory for your family. looking forward to some show announcements soon.

I'm thinking he might lay low in terms of shows so he can finish off his work on the video game music (looking forward to it, as I'm a video game junkie, and I LOVE Bungee games), and maybe do some shows (2-3) around Christmas in the UK, and a handful in the Spring around the time the new album gets released. He's off his usual tour schedule (for the past few years, anyway), so I imagine he'll be itching to get out on the road by Spring.

The new rock/pop album is totally what I am looking forward to!

This would seem to follow what he has done in the past. We shall see!

Since he doesn't seem to do much publicly in the Fall these days (custody of Bea and school holidays), minus the Ocean's Kingdom premiere last year, I'm thinking that there's a chance he'll be out on the road early next year as opposed to the usual 5-10 summer shows. I had a feeling that when he did some shows this Spring that he wouldn't be doing any summer shows, especially with the Olympics gig...

If it's as good as Chaos then I'll be most happy with it. MAF was kind of a let down after the brilliant CACITB.

A letdown? For me, MAF it was more like an uplift. C&C is too melancholy for me.

It is the exact opposite for me. CACITB never really grabbed me, whereas MAF had more accessible tunes IMO. ONLY MOMMA KNOWS is amazing.

Ditto, Audi. I liked both, as they fit different moods, but MAF is played a lot more on my iPod.

Maybe that's where its brilliance lies? In the melancholy part? Most tunes on MAF sound pedestrian to me, run of the mill McCartney. Many of them sound like something Nigel Godrich would have rejected for Chaos with a "You can do better than that, mate". Driving Rain and MAF could have been great, but were just very good. Of course, needless to say, that's just my opinion and... Opinions are like a**holes. Everybody's got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks.

There we go. My FAVORITE post-Beatles album by Paul. This would be one of my "If you were trapped on a desert island" albums.

I think he should've just made it one album. A lot of the songs from MAF, were leftovers from C&C and even Driving Rain...maybe something like this... Chaos in My Mind 1.Fine Line 2.Ever Present Past 3.Only Mama Knows 4.Friends To Go 5.Mr. Bellamy 6.You Tell Me 7.Jenny Wren 8.This Never Happened Before 9.Promise To You Girl 10.Dance Tonight 11.Vintage Clothes 12.That Was Me 13.Feet in The Clouds 14.The End of The End Singles would've been... Fine Line/ A Certain Softness Ever Present Past/ See Your Sunshine Dance Tonight/ English Tea ...the rest could be saved for the next piece of work, that SHOULD have been sooner than later! :
-
I'm trying so hard to resist the urge to redo your tracklisting for the fictional Paul album, as I don't want to take us even more off-topic... Must...fight...urge... Paul, would you give us some concert rumors to talk about, already? Look what we're resorting to!
-
Love it! But yes...gimme some REAL rumors so I can stop merging Paul albums!
-
Not to interrupt the enjoyable conversation, but I want rumors! And rumors that convert to realty! Not that any of us hold that power.. just Paul & Company!

This is pretty darn good. But I would have to have "House Of Wax." Also, how's this for a title? Chaotic Memory of Driving.

Okay... Rumor has it that Paul is coming to my house to do a private concert.

And I'd drop "End of the End" and "This Never Happened Before" to add in "Too Much Rain" and heck, I'll give Audi "House of Wax" even though it's not one of my favorites. I'm in a generous mood.
