Paul McCartney 2012 Rumours
-
^^ Indeed. Do remember that the 2011 December shows were announced around mid-October if I remember correctly. And don't forget the smaller 2010 UK dates were announced 2 weeks prior to the shows! So, for those of us desperate to see him yet AGAIn before the year is over, we do need to have our wits about us from now to mid December It's pretty tense.
-
Was looking at the O2 arena site, looks pretty full apart from a few days in mid December, maybe Paul with go with the RAH or Wembley Arena, being the 50th anniversary of Love me Do, would make sense for some UK shows to round off the year .
-
Oh, give me the RAH, Brixton or Hammersmith Apollo over those areana shows anytime! Such a better vibe for Macca at the smaller venues!
-
He better come back! O2 Academy in Liverpool would be perfect
-
Oh man... I've been googling around for hints every day and checking the site every day.... my bank account is ready.... I'm ready... Don't let us down, Macca. I'm obsessed. I shouldn't get my hopes up too much. Chris, I need a doctor here STAT! I'm having a Macca fit. Has anyone tried the front row and hot sound packages? What were they like?

1 year since the pre-sale for the UK December gigs... I rather see him breaking the tradition than bringing the same show for the fourth (!) year in a row to London. 2013: new album, brand new show, high hopes.

I rather think you're going to get your wish where has that year gone though.

It seems that after those concerts in november Paul spend december and january with his family and in his studio recording a new album. Hopefully he will make a surprise appearance or two somewhere.

Anybody have any news or rumors about the Christmas shows?

Anybody have any news or rumors about the Christmas shows?
Well Welsh radio station Red Dragon have mentioned a possible Liverpool show and they were the first to get the heads up last year so heres hoping. Here the link showing that they correctly predicted last years show really early http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=82476&start=0

^^^ That sounds exciting. Honestly, if those November US gigs were the last of the year then they'd be in December. There's no reason for Paul to have them in November instead of December unless he plans to have the usual UK xmas shows. And Paul has no reason to not continue his usual xmas UK show thing. I asked Brian last night about it on twitter and he said he doesn't know anything yet. So, we're probably not going to know any time too soon. Unless he's keeping a secret. How does that radio show know?

Attending the soundcheck, getting to hear songs that you most likely have not heard performed before, and then the show itself (from the front row) is an amazing experience. If you ever get the opportunity, I highly recommend it...it's something you will never forget!!

Soundcheck really is a great experience! I've only had the money (and not really even then) to do it once, but it was definitely amazing to hear those songs, meet new people, and then get to do the concert after.

Thanks! What are the seats like for the actual gig for both packages? Which is best? Have you gone with other people? I'll be doing it alone.

I went solo, and had 3rd row center. It was about $400 to $500 cheaper to not do the first row package, and I had better seats (center) than the front row folks (off to the left of the stage).
