Speaking of Atlantic City, I see that Gov. Christie is campaigning to get Springsteen to perform at a casino there on Labor Day weekend. I think he might have better luck getting Paul. After all, they're friends.

Those South Jersey area shows are fine, but PLEASE!! Make sure he comes up North Jersey, too!!!

Here's my prediction for North American concerts in 2012: Paul's US mini-tours since 2009 were really pieces of one large tour, just stretched out over several years. Aside from going to New York and Montreal twice, he hasn't repeated cities. He's zig-zagged back and forth across the continent. And New York was probably so he could play at the two new stadiums. So what region hasn't he been to yet? The Northwest, starting with Minneapolis. Remember, he was supposed to go there in 2011 after Chicago but cancelled. Minneapolis Hey Paul, did I guess right?
Minneapolis is within driving distance for me!

I'll be there, too! I don't care to fly anymore, so I would consider the following likely cities: Mpls, Milwaukee, Des Moines, Chicago, St. Louis, Indpls, Memphis

You know I was thinking the same thing about the NW - particularly Vancouver since he likes Canada. And you're right about NYC. Not this year for sure. Being from NY looks like I'll need to travel to see him. But I Loooove the NW and Vancouver. I just hope I have enough of a heads up to plan the trip. I usually don't fly but take Amtrak, and I have Lots of free miles racked up. In fact, if he does Minneapolis (as well as Seattle and/or Portland) I can do all that on one Amtrak trip.

Yes, he ended the drought for Chicago fans but there are many more of us out this way. I would like to do soundcheck as well but would probably just listen outside if it's open air. I noticed from a recent gig that soundcheck was being offered as a standalone option. I have long wanted that so that I could attend and then sit wherever I want for the concert.

Really? Soundcheck offered as a stand alone product?

Yeah, saw that for one of the SA gigs. It was still overpriced, though, at $1,000.

But this way (although I bet he'd NEVER offer that option in the states) you could go to one night's soundcheck & show & the 2nd night (if he's in your town 2 nites) you can just do the soundcheck. I would have done that in Chicago.
