Hi guys , can anybody confirm that all the stuff contained on the Deluxe Vinyl will be contained of the Deluxe CD box set (and more probably )? I don't want to buy both if I'm getting the same stuff twice . I may stretch to the picture disc...
Can anybody help me out here ?
To answer your question, yes it will be. The content (40 tracks) on the triple vinyl deluxe format is also featured on the Super Deluxe 3cd/1 blu-ray release. However the Dolby Atmos / 5.1 surround sound / hi-res stereo mix is unique to the blu-ray. This latter release also has a book where as the vinyl just has a 4 page insert.
As far as I can see there is no double vinyl release to match the double cd release but there is a single vinyl lp to match the single cd release. Although more expensive, the best option would be to go for the 3cd/1 blu-ray format as that has everything.
Thanks for that , appreciate it !
You're very welcome but please double check elsewhere, just in case I've got something wrong.

What's great is that we can get just as excited now as back in the day...when new Beatle product was coming out!!!

Wow, that's pretty cool that you've been to Abbey Road 6 times! Will it be 7 times if you get a brick then?
I've only been lucky enough to get inside twice, and yes, it's quite an experience to see the actual equipment and such!!! Great BeaTle memories.
I think you may have been replying to my post back in July?
Every time is slightly different so this time (as well as being allowed in the control room...again), we were able to visit the famous 'echo chamber'. I did look around to see if you or James were visiting again but unfortunately I didn't recognise anyone on this particular visit. In the little shop they'd set up just outside the extrance into studio 2, I did spy a 'brick' for sale. Despite being tempted for all of 0.3 seconds, I decided to give it a miss.
Would have liked to go, it probably didn't work with my schedule at the time. Not sure... Hope to go back again!! The two times I went were both very different setups and both brilliant! Really enjoyed the time that the equipment was well labeled. I love my red Abbey Road t-shirt!!! And the other bits and bobs I was able to puchase as mementos. That brick was a bit pricey I imagine they're all gone by now... was just visiting James in July on the way to Linda's exhibit in Scotland.

No, I don’t believe that. In an interview just recently, when Linda’s Polaroids came out, he said that the family played Beatles and Wings albums.

Simply amazing. The original lp sounds sensational, and the outtakes/bonus songs are sensational. My favorites as of today are "The Ballad of John and Yoko" (just John and Paul), "Come And Get It" (how the band did not put this song on an album is a total mystery), and the extraordinary "The Long One" (basically a run through of the Abbey Road medley.)

Hey, Bruce Spizer was there! (the white bearded guy from New Orleans) He wrote the books about Sgt. Pepper, The White Album and Abbey Road that I and my friend Jennifer are quoted in!
