Fans on stage

Nobody on the concert stage but Paul and his band. Save for a guest artist, nobody else should be on that stage! Nobody.
Exactly!

Exactly. What is even worse is now it seems to be an almost every night thing.

What's wrong with brining younger people up on stage? Not our fault we were born later - if anything we had to put more effort it to learn his back catalogue! #TeamMillenials (for the avoidance of doubt, my use of a "hash tag" here is entirely ironic)
I guess we "first generation" fans feel like we've paid our dues for the past 52 years and deserve a break! God knows, if I had all the time, energy and money back that I've spent on Paul and The Beatles, I could retire in luxury!

Paul says something to the effect of it has now come to the time in the show.... Started last year. Just want it to stop.

Elton did call a young kid on stage at a show I saw. It wasn't in Vegas. This kid was about 8 and knew the words to every song. Elton loves kids and noticed him. People in the audience had put the kid on their shoulders. During I'm Still Standing, Elton grabbed the kid and pulled him on stage. Kid loved it and Elton seemed to truly enjoy it. No sign, just enthusiasm. Turns out the parents were several rows behind and adults had let the kid keep moving towards the front. Kid even got to sit at the piano with Elton and sing. It was fun to watch. I've seen Elton a few times and only seen fans on stage at the Vegas show other than this time.
Nice story...and yet something slightly disturbing about that second paragraph.
Too funny!! I presume he wasn't singing "Don't let the son go down on me"
Nice story about Sir Elton and the little boy.ð??? Ummm....what is "slightly disturbing" comment of the child on stage, and the reference to "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me?" Sounds like a slightly homophobic sick twisted vibe going on here. Sir Elton has two gorgeous sons and is the most charitable musician/ celebrity in the World this year. If you all see something more there you need your head checked.

Sir Elton? You mean Reg, the Miss Piggy of music? Always been a figure of fun. Tantrum or tiara???

Agreed. Here is a photo of the young boy at the piano with Elton.

In the words of Sergeant Hulka, "Lighten up Francis". Guilty of a warped sense of humour, nothing more.

Peeps on stage at Macca's concert--that whole thing seems a bit tacky. A little bit cheesy. Sometimes it's fun and heartwarming but has been done too much. Paul looks good, sounds good, plays good and we just want to see him up there in the spotlight. I love how he looks a bit street-y and tough while he plays. His masculine stance. He looks quite strong.

If this site allows posters to make jokes about people, alluding to child molestation, based on their sexual preference then so be it.

I had forgotten I had taken that photo until last night. I'm sure the kid will never forget it, especially since his mom found video of it!
-
Was cute when he had the French couple onstage at his show in Paris, and the guy proposed and she assented
-
No. No, it wasn't cute at all.
-
Another marriage proposal in Madrid tonight
-
Marriage proposals on stage are not cute.
