My conclusions: 1) The Stones have had much better guest artists. 2) McCartney not only plays longer concerts but at least he has had career after being in the Beatles and there is more diversified music. 3) McCartney had played his most popular Beatle songs almost 3 times as much as the Stones have played their most popular songs. 4) McCartney has played almost as many cover songs from other artist as he has played his solo songs - lol

But, but... This is almost a decade vs. half a decade? It says more to me that The Stones managed to do 89 unique songs in 4 years over 96 concerts vs. McCartney who did... a quick glance through tour setlists about 140 gigs in that same time period and had give or take 70 unique songs in the set.

I chose those periods because Paul returned to the stage on 2008 (first stadium concerts since 2005 US Tour) and the Stones in 2012 (first stadium concerts since 2007). The main fact here is that Paul hasn't toured too much outside the US, as the Stones are doing it right now. They have toured only five years, but they've done almost the same number of countries as for Paul in the last 15 years too. Thanks for watching

When Paul tours, he has about 40 songs in circulation. 35 or so will be played at the show. When the Stones tour, they have about 35 songs in circulation. 20 or so will be played any given night.

This is almost like saying Paul was more prolific than John because he released more albums from 1970-2017 than John did from 1970-1980.

I think Paul started his "comeback" in 2002 and has toured pretty non-stop almost every year since. I would be interested in the "who earned more" statistic.
