The Beatles isolated vocals

If I fell is gorgeous. It's interesting to hear John and Paul switch and swap between lead and harmonies

I especially admire the lyrics to "Paperback Writer" as they always inspire me to want to write something (laughs) ! Paul's youthful young voice sounds so emotional, thoughtful and poignant on this song, so full of intellectual feeling, if that's not an oxymoron. He's singing about thinking, contemplating, writing. Not about romance and love. It's refreshing. Makes one want to scribble.
Thanks for this !

What I like about the 'Paperback Writer' isolated vocals is the way Paul clears his throat between his verses. knowing that it would never be heard on the finished record. Its quite entertaining listening to many of these vocal overdubs on Beatles songs, hearing the various 'warming up' vocalising between passages. They would have been lost forever had it not been for the ability to be able to listen to the vocal recordings in isolation.

I was thinking the same thing!
