Why can you only edit a post 30 minutes after creating it? Every other board I have seen you can edit anything you created forever. The 30 minute time frame for making changes is pretty limited IMO. Just curious and wondering if this can be changed.

You can just delete it anytime.

        So

        1. Copy text

        2. Open a new reply box

        3. Paste in new reply box

        4. Make your corrections

        5. Delete the original post that had the errors. Your post is in a different position, but has been corrected.

You might want to send a message to admin, but in these times we are in, maybe they're busy.

Thanks for the reply, I thought I could do that but it is a bit of work just to edit a word or two -lol.

I think the reason is because, once upon a time, this was an active site with heated discussions.  When discussing politics, especially, people want to "win", which is easier to do when you edit your post after your opponent has responded.

Yes, the site appears to have been much more popular before the new format, aspects of which can be aggravating.

Hmmm kinda like fake news posts. LOL  That makes a lot of sense.

Hope things are getting better all the time, in China. Stay safe Hailey!!

Understand that can happen (lol) but most people just want to correct typo or change something they worded wrong.
