Very nice, much better lineup than the concert a few weeks ago.

This is great news.  Will they provide a precise time for Sir Paul's performance?

Now that Paul will perform at one of the Coronavirus Benefit Concerts, this begs the question:

1st Question...What song or two do you  "predict"Paul will perform?

2nd Question...What song or two do you "hope" that Paul performs?

My quick answers without thinking too much...

                        Predicted songs?

                        1. Blackbird (he has performed Blackbird many times so it would be easy for Paul to do)

                        2. Yesterday (same as above)

                        3. Dance Toniight (again Paul has done this one many times so it would be easy for him)

Songs you "hope" Paul may perform

                        1. Hope for the Future (maybe has the best lyrics for this Pandemic)

                        2. Hope of Deliverance (another "hope" song that Paul has performed at least with his Band)

                        3. Calico Skies (another great acoustical song that Paul used to perform on his tours)

What do You think?  Maybe someone could start a "vote/poll" thing for these 2 questions!

I doubt it will be Yesterday since he has stopped doing that one in concert.  Something upbeat like Dance Tonight is a good thought.  or maybe Let It Be on piano.

Thanks Nightfish for your response.  You have a good point about Yesterday and "Let It Be" would always be a natural choice if Paul has a piano close by.  I would love it if Paul got a little adventurous and did a song he has never done at one of his concerts.  I would love if Paul did either "Hand in Hand" or "Somebody Who Cares" from Tug of War.  Lyrically, either song for the World's current virus situation works well.  Just hoping that Paul would tackle a song he has never done in Concert before.  Both tunes are favorite "Solo" Paul songs for me.

Bearing in mind it will have to be a solo performance, and that he may only do one or two songs, I'd also agree that Blackbird and Let It Be are very likely choices. Unless of course he does a similar thing to 1997 when he did a couple of performances backed by himself on Drums, Bass etc. on different video screens, but that's probaly unlikely given the logistical issues of putting something like that together whilst exercising social distancing etc.

Either way, it will be great to see Paul!

Thanks Mr. Jimmy.  Like you, I could easily see it being Blackbird and/or Let It Be.  As much as I would  like to see him tackle a newer song like "Hand in Hand" or even "Somebody Who Cares" I don't see it happening.  It would take a lot of courage for Paul to do a song he's never done "live" or in concert before.  We will see!

I like all the songs you chose, especially like the "Hope" songs .  Some other songs Home Tonight it is a caring song and also was thinking Somebody Who Cares

I had a feeling Paul would organize or take part in something like this and I'm sure he'd want to do something to encourage people during this time.

Since so many musical artists will be performing on this program, I think Paul will probably do one or two songs from this list:

                                    1. We all stand together ( I think since the coronavirus crisis started, people are saying "We're all in this together,"  so I think this would be fitting.)

                                    2. Freedom  (Sung at the 9/11 concert in NYC)

                                    3.  I wanna hold your hand (humorous spin on the title since no one is holding or shaking hands right now!)

                                    4.  Let it Be  (fitting words "When all the broken-hearted people living in the world agree, there will be an answer...Let it Be"... and that's what we've done with the coronavirus... just stayed isolated and let it be...)

                                    5. Hey Jude

                                    6. Blackbird

                                    7.  You Won't See Me  (because we're all isolated! lol)

                                    8.  Hope of Deliverance

                                    9.   Good Day Sunshine

                                    10.  Getting Better (think this one would be very encouraging. )

I won't be surprised if Paul just picks up an acoustic guitar and sings "We Can Work It Out".

"Life is very short, and there's no time for fussing and fighting".

But if he wants to surprise us and sing "Eat At Home" instead, I certainly won't complain!

You made me laugh with your "Eat at Home" choice.  Afterall, we can't go to restaurants at this time.  I would love for Paul to surprise us with something off the wall.

Now that Paul will perform at one of the Coronavirus Benefit Concerts, this begs the question:

1st Question...What song or two do you  "predict"Paul will perform?

2nd Question...What song or two do you "hope" that Paul performs?

My quick answers without thinking too much...

                                          Predicted songs?

                                          1. Blackbird (he has performed Blackbird many times so it would be easy for Paul to do)

                                          2. Yesterday (same as above)

                                          3. Dance Toniight (again Paul has done this one many times so it would be easy for him)

Songs you "hope" Paul may perform

                                          1. Hope for the Future (maybe has the best lyrics for this Pandemic)

                                          2. Hope of Deliverance (another "hope" song that Paul has performed at least with his Band)

                                          3. Calico Skies (another great acoustical song that Paul used to perform on his tours)

What do You think?  Maybe someone could start a "vote/poll" thing for these 2 questions!

I had a feeling Paul would organize or take part in something like this and I'm sure he'd want to do something to encourage people during this time.

Since so many musical artists will be performing on this program, I think Paul will probably do one or two songs from this list:

                                          1. We all stand together ( I think since the coronavirus crisis started, people are saying "We're all in this together,"  so I think this would be fitting.)

                                          2. Freedom  (Sung at the 9/11 concert in NYC)

                                          3.  I wanna hold your hand (humorous spin on the title since no one is holding or shaking hands right now!)

                                          4.  Let it Be  (fitting words "When all the broken-hearted people living in the world agree, there will be an answer...Let it Be"... and that's what we've done with the coronavirus... just stayed isolated and let it be...)

                                          5. Hey Jude

                                          6. Blackbird

                                          7.  You Won't See Me  (because we're all isolated! lol)

                                          8.  Hope of Deliverance

                                          9.   Good Day Sunshine

                                          10.  Getting Better (think this one would be very encouraging. )

Lots of good choices LadyLeslie.  I especially liked your "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" choice.  Another off the wall choice but I would love it.  I don't think it would ever happen since Paul doesn't do it even with his full Band on tour.

Thanks, B J Conlee!  Liked your selections as well.  We'll have to think of all the songs Paul has written where the lyrics could fit with what people are going through now.  Especially liked 5th-Beatle's choice of "We Can Work it 0ut".

I wonder why Paul doesn't sing I Wanna Hold Your Hand anymore.... It's in the medium register, not a lot of high notes, so it wouldn't be difficult.   Same with Yesterday, it's a simple yet very beautiful melody, so isn't difficult to sing either.   He doesn't seem to shy away from other Beatle songs at his concerts so don't think it's a distancing from the past.....
