        I would love to hear John sing that, but Paul said it was never recorded when he sang it to Ringo. ☹️

          I'd love to hear John sing it, too. I also would love to hear Paul sing it in his "Here, There and Everywhere" crooning Marianne Faithfull voice.

          hee hee, Paul said "John wrote it, mainly" had to throw that "mainly" in there, perhaps to make us think he had a hand in it too? Sounds to me though from this article that Lennon wrote the whole of "Goodnight"

            Could hear that song being played during the credits of a 50's type movie with a happy ending. Nice orchestration.
