Hi everyone!! getting excited for Sunday? oh yes I know you are Woot can't wait!! If anyone reading this does not have tickets, just wanted to pass along that I saw ticketmaster selling some newly released tickets a couple of days ago. Not sure if they are all gone as of now. Also craigslist is being flooded with tickets for sale also. It looks like many are face value or below. Be careful however, I would suggest only work on buying those ones if you are local and can pick them up to verify they are real tickets. Some are posting images of the tickets so i think that's helpful.

Yipee I am here! Vancouver is cool. What a time I had getting here, almost shut the place down when I arrived. They got nervous (& me too) at the front desk cause my electric toothbrush turned on inside my bag & made such a noise clanking against stuff that we all were thinking what is that a bomb? But thats nothin compared to what my dad did, he's 91 & he fell last Thursday & broke a hip. He's come back around like a champ (he is) is up in a wheelchair flirting with all the nurses & gives his OK for me to go, specially since its paid for. He knows the value of a dollar. So I'm right at the BC place, they gave me a big room. If someone gets caught out in the cold, message me. I've got an empty couch you can sleep on and a full kitchen in this hotel. On topic: Bruce should show up for Paul, cause Paul may not have time to show up for Bruce. Thats my practical approach.
I tried to get a room at one of the hotels very close (probably the one you are staying in) and bam, they were all gone. I guess I should not have waited even one week. Haha Anyway, I got a room less than 1km away so that's cool. Sorry to hear about your Dad!! ow ow! sounds painful. Glad he's doing well though. What a trooper.

I live just across from BC Place--I can see it out my front window, just across the parking lot--and last night they had it all lit up electric blue, with diagonal red and white bands zipping across. At first I was thinking, "why are they displaying the Union Jack?" Then it hit me...duh!! So set up has begun! Got my Soundcheck instructions yesterday and getting very excited. Welcome to all those visiting Vancouver...hope you enjoy your stay despite the rain!
Here's a pic!
Great pic from up on high! I luv the new roof on BC Place, much better than the old giant white marshmallow roof it used to have. I really like those lights which always seem to be changing. The top looks like a crown now with the steel girders pointing skyward. Can't say I've seen this particular colour pattern before so it may well be in honour of Paul. Good gawd, I'm so excited for Sunday that my stomach has been doing flips for days. I hope I don't faint during the concert!

Hi all! Im going on sunday and can hardly wait...also thinking of going to Springsteen the next day and only ticketmaster seats are ones behind the stage; has anyone here sat in those seats at Rogers Arena? worth it? I can buy scalped tix, but was wondering what the ticketmaster seats are like behind stage.. Thx!!
I cant speak for the Rogers, but behind the stage seats--for Springsteen specifically--are great and I would rather sit there than all the way in the back. They are close to the stage, there are no obstructions, and Bruce will turn around and play to the people back there. If I can't get a GA ticket so I can try for the Pit, behind stage is my second choice. There are screens above so you can watch the video feed if you need to see closeups.
hey thanks!!! great info...will probably do that then! many thanks!

So, it's almost here, our magical moment with Paul in Vancouver! Looks like the weather will be good and we won't get wet (hopefully). I'm hoping we get to see some bag pipers piping for the Western Canadian shows, that would be thrilling. Any other members taking in the show? As of yesterday there were more seats available, so if you couldn't get tickets before you can now. See you there! (I'll be the one with a big Canadian flag that says "Driving from Nanaimo to see Paul McCartney) it's been with me for 3 previous shows.

Took a look around today, it appears his trucks have arrived parked close to the venue might count was 13 this morning and also Banners line the local Cambie Bridge with the ad for the show, will try and grab a picture tomorrow.

If anyone wants to see video of what the outside of the stadium has looked like for the past few nights, here it is. Very very cool.

Really cool, thanks. Do you know if that will be seen on the inside also or is that just something that happens outside of the stadium?

Driving 7 hours from Spokane, WA to see Paul for the third time! I'm so excited. This will be my first time seeing him in a venue this large, and the first time ever for my sister and niece. Even though I'll be in the nosebleed, it'll still be great just breathing the same air as Paul. Can't wait to see my family's face when Paul comes on stage for the first time! So excited!

If your from Spokane you probably know what your doing on the road. But if your not a seasoned driver check the passes, up here they have had to close them off & on for the ice & numerous bad wrecks (late at night & early in the am). Vancouver news gives a very brief report on the road from Washington. All I saw was several feet of snow ops: I never drive in that anymore, I always spin out. Right now at BC Place we're getting some rain this morning, no wind yet just a steady moderate rain. It doesn't feel that cold - temp is 7C or 44.6F. Doesn't feel that bad with no wind but wind was in the forcast. Have a safe trip.

Thank you, but no he is not allowed to have pain, his heart wouldn't take it so he's stoned on iv drugs (the fun ones) & flirting & joking with all his young nurses. A trooper you bet, that generation is like that. It's as if surviving WWII gave them 20 extra years. Mom is also 91, & still with us too! So your hotel is close & you should be alright but if somehow it isn't I've got space. The front desk said I can bring in 3 people overnight IF I register them. If I'm ganna have any trouble at any nighttime event it happens when it's over & usually is because I can't find a cab. When we get out it will be around 5C or 40F, not a good time to stand on a corner waiting for a cab for very long. Also I worry about all those fans who try to drive home that late at night in the bad weather.
