Bob G, Alvita, Sarah, Podge, Rick, and the rest (hope you're back in your house soon) had signs going all night. Paul was smiling, pointing, and laughing at you guys throughout most of the concert. I can't wait for Rick and Bob to post their pictures. Rick I sent you a PM
It was so great to see you again!! Wish we'd had the energy to hang out post show... but no such luck. Alvita and I basically collapsed when we got back to our room. Till next time!
I was wonderin'... ...granted I was already drained when Alvita and I had texted Saturday night.

So sad we didn't catch you Audi! We were going strong on Saturday night.. but, after a light 5 1/2 hour sleep on Saturday, soundcheck and the concert we were drained. Oh...and freezing! How did the temps drop like 30 degrees in one evening???

Rolling Stone covered it. http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/paul-mccartney-launches-another-magical-mystery-tour-20121112
It's been updated. It first said the guitarists were floppy haired Rusty Anderson and Paul "Wix" Wickens.

This was my 46th Paul concert. I'm home and still Paul zapped after a sleep that lasted from 7 PM until 9:30 AM. The man never ceases to amaze me. He is incredible. Yes, I cried during Let It Be. It's my song and it means so much to me. Paul means so much to me.

Glad you enjoyed the show! Sorry we didn't meet - you did soundcheck, too right? What did you think? The only time I cried the whole day was during "C Moon" at soundcheck. How strange... It was likely nothing to do with that song...just when it hit me that PAUL was singing... I've been properly ridiculed for that timing, though.

You were right in front of us waiting to go in to sound check. I think you commented on our shirts. So now you know I'm a dowdy old lady.

No way! In the green and black t-shirts?? That's crazy! I think Alvita had gotten a shirt from your friend before. Anyway, I didn't know that was you - you should've said something. Always enjoy meeting fellow boardies. And don't be harsh on yourself - now you know I'm an overly excited, "I-might-pass-out" spaz. God knows what you may have overheard me say.

Had to laugh at the Rolling Stone review..."a surprise version of "Helter Skelter." Have these people lived under a rock since 2005 lol!?

The weather went from absolutely gorgeous to cold and dreadful. Understood.

That was us! We were too excited talking amongst ourselves and finding people we knew. I don't recall overhearing anything. I know my friend asked to see your tat. I am definitely an overly excited I might pass out type also. Was at my first Paul concert and was at this one Hence, the tears during Let It Be. I never know what my emotions will do when it comes to Paul. It was a great run for me. Glad I had decided this was the end for me as now that I've done the sound check, I could never go back and I can not do sound checks for every show. I'm too old to do this any more. I'm still recovering. I don't even drink.

Who all brought "newbie" fans with you? My bf knows the McCartney hits -- as does the rest of the planet -- but I knew I'd successfully indoctrinated him when, at this concert, he knew "Sing The Changes," "Mrs. Vandebilt," "1985" and "My Valentine."

I'm SO wishing I could pack up and head to Houston tomorrow night!!!! Post-Paul depression is setting in--but mostly still on a Macca high! I ordered a print of this picture I took--my favorite photo from the night--to commemorate the best-sounding Paul show I've ever seen! http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151316058660460&set=a.10151316056275460.537082.681825459&type=3&theater Sir Paul-- !!!!!

My dad was a "newbie"! Not many people probably say THAT! He loved the show and was very impressed. However, over the course of my fandom he has seen "Back in the US" "The Space Within US" and "Good Evening New York City" which altered his experience for both good and bad I think. There were post-beatle songs he already knew like "Dance Tonight" and "Let Me Roll It" but, a lot of the banter was off-putting to him since he had heard it already. My grandmother sort of gets swooned over by it, so it was nice being with someone else that was tired of hearing "Not many people know but George Harrison...."

See that's the thing. You assume "these people" have seen him before. For most of the audience it's the first and maybe last time they will see the legend in concert. They love every minute of it! Rolling Stone wrote it from that angle. Not for some jaded board member with too much time and money who saw him 46 times and complains about it. That's the most ridiculous thing I ever see on here! :

Cindy and I had a total blast seeing Macca again. Frankly I didnt know if this gig would live up to how good the Nashville show was. I must say that St Louis, in my opinion, was a better gig than Nashville. Dont know how he does it! Enjoyed meeting some of the boardies at Maggies. Here is a link to pics from the gig. https://www.facebook.com/fletcher.terry.3/posts/4312977816486?comment_id=4619728&ref=notif¬if_t=feed_comment#!/media/set/?set=a.4291368516267.175905.1048136423&type=3

Yes - Alvita (aakiboh) and I were in St. Louis together. We were at a table with some other friends on the patio! You may also have seen us staring longingly at the televisions inside the Hard Rock watching the Ticket to Ride video... just depends on when you saw us...

What a fabulous show-got to meet a couple of new Paul friends, and Maccascruff ("talked" to her so much it was like I already knew her) This was 1 of my favorite concerts-Paul's voice was exceptionally good, and he was really into it-I think not doing a proper concert since May was a good thing. I thought the setlist was great- hearing "Birthday" was fun. I'm one of the fans that never complains-I'm just happy to be singing and dancing with Paul again! The crowd was insane when Paul came out-I didn't think we would ever stop screaming. Sound check was cool as always, but seemed very subdued compared to the others I've been to-maybe because Shelley and Simone weren't there? Just had a different feel to it.....Usually there is more interaction with Paul-and no one was called up on stage. It was still FANTASTIC though! Wish I was in Houston today.
