Here's a video montage I made of the StL show. It includes Paul arriving at the venue as well. Youtube only allows me to put 15 minutes on there, so I had to cut some stuff out. What an amazing evening! Enjoy!
Very nice!!! Thanks for posting

On the drive home back in Baltimore
Hey, I watched all 5 seasons of "The Wire". They depict Baltimore like a shithole filled with drug dealers!
And some parts of it are!
Thanks, McNulty!

I've just noticed that virtually all the songs were played faster than usual, but that's also typical of a first night.

Awesome pics Wallie, congratulations! What camera do you have and how much zoom does it have?
Thanks. It's a Canon PowerShot, with a 40x zoom on it.

Just got back to Little Rock from the St. Louis show. My first McCartney show, and I have never been so starstruck. I know many of the fans like to act like it's old hat. I am so glad that I feel no need to be cool. I was emotionally overcome over and over again. I can't believe what an incredible show it was. This was a major financial indulgence for us, and it was worth every penny. Still floating on a McCartney high.

I think it was in the setlist no matter what as they had the graphics on screen cued up for the song, but he happened to read two signs folks were holding up about that night being their birthdays before playing it. It sounds better saying it was a fan request, but not quite accurate.

You know I have to admit, that was one of best McCartney shows, I've seen.

I would agree that this is one of the best McCartney shows ever. Even though there was a DVD put out 3 years ago, I would definitely pay for a DVD of this show because Paul was in such perfect voice. I've never been one that wanted to know the set list in advance. I think I've finally figured out why. With every concert I attend, there is at least one song that brings me to tears and I never know what song it's going to be. In 2002, it was "Hello, Goodbye". I hadn't seen Paul perform live since the 1980s and that was in a stadium. I wasn't sure what to expect of the show. How good would he be? Would I be disappointed? The show was at Reunion Arena in Dallas and my daughters were with me. The emotions started when the silouette of Paul holding the Hofner aloft appeared on the screen and when they started "Hello, Goodbye", I was just blown away by how good they sounded and that I was going to hear my favorite member of my favorite band perform. Sunday night, it was "And I Love Her". I couldn't begin to explain why, but the emotions were so strong I had to lean back against my seat. Those moments are priceless and never to be forgotten.

Definitely a great show, still can't understand anyone thinking Paul should stop playing live!

I cant understand that either, as long as he is able to, more power to him.

Even after falling on the ground being 70 (3.48 ), after 3 hours of concert, he's still able.
A bit like Cristiano Ronaldo that scored a goal this week after being hit on the eye and only being able to see with the other eye. As Dave Grohl sung about Kurt Cobain "There goes my hero..." -

Bob G, Alvita, Sarah, Podge, Rick, and the rest (hope you're back in your house soon) had signs going all night. Paul was smiling, pointing, and laughing at you guys throughout most of the concert. I can't wait for Rick and Bob to post their pictures. Rick I sent you a PM
It was so great to see you again!! Wish we'd had the energy to hang out post show... but no such luck. Alvita and I basically collapsed when we got back to our room. Till next time!

Don't bother getting a Post-Dispatch if you're still in town today. The review isn't in today's edition.
The review is in today's St. Louis Post-Dispatch on page 3A.

I feel like this reviewer really nailed it http://www.insidestl.com/insideSTLcom/Community/STLMusic/tabid/77/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/9753/REVIEW-Paul-McCartney-Rocks-Scottrade-Center.aspx Not nearly as jaded and hipster as the Rolling Stone reviewer.
