: Nothing new!

maccascruff:
I am another person who has had the opportunity to meet people from this forum and other online friends at Paul concerts. Great times and great memories.
It's fantastic to get to meet folks from the forum--one of the fun parts of the concert experience.

It's starting to hit me. 2 weeks from tomorrow and I'll be boarding the plane for St. Louis. I'm dabbling at a geeky fan girl concert poster, my bags are pretty much packed...and I'm driving everyone crazy talking about this concert. This will be my first time in getting together with like minded Paul fans. I have been enjoying him pretty much on my own for the past 48 years (driving friends and family a little batty). I can't wait to meet all of you.
Yes, we tend to drive the people around us crazy with our focus on Paul. That's so cool you were at the San Diego Wings Over America show. I was seated on the floor about half way back on the aisle and towards the end of the show - I think it was during "Band on the Run" - people began to rush the stage and I was able to get about even with the 5th row (standing in the aisle). Of course the security doesn't allow that to happen anymore. I remember the crowd going absolutely wild when he came out - it was literally a roar.

Yeah, Totom, that was my first Paul experience. I went alone then too and sat in the 19th row. I will never forget the anticipation and that feeling when he hit the stage singing Rock Show. There will never be anything quite like it for me, since it was my first and at the time had been obsessed with him for more than half my life...I was 19. Meeting new people is definitely part of the joy for me. I can't wait to meet up at the pub with all of you. Because in the long run its the lasting friendships you make from these kind of experiences that really matter in the long run. See you in 2 weeks, friends!

Does anybody know of any place we could all meet up and introduce ourselves in St. Louis? There may be too many of us but it'd be nice to try. Somewhere close before the show maybe? Just a thought!
-
If you look back in the thread, there is a place for meet up before and after concert. Are people arriving on Saturday? We will be there by Saturday evening (2 weeks from today) and could meet up Saturday evening.
-
We get in Sat around 1pm
-
Two weeks, people. Two. Weeks.
-
Can't wait for November 11. I'm driving and planning on arriving by 3 pm on Saturday.

Way too excited to sit still. Just one more weekend until the awesome road trip to St. Louis!
-
Road trip and some time away from home. I hate the coming down from a Paul concert.

Do we have a time we are meeting at Maggie's at Union station? I'm in the city all day so I am trying to plan my day and definitely want to meet up on saturday night at the pub. Starting researching St. Louis today and have found some cool things to do and also some locals gave me some great tips. Although Paul is the highlight and meeting up with like minded peeps, I am starting to feel that being in St. Louis is going to be fun. found some fun things to do.

I'm suggesting 4 p.m. on Sunday. Anyone else?

That sounds like a good time for the pre-concert festivities to begin on Sunday. What time did everyone have in mind for the Saturday evening get-together? My plane arrives at 5:44 p.m., so probably could make it for 7:30 p.m. or so. Getting Closer.

Less than 2 weeks, I'm excited for you guys, haha!
