"#SirPaul still puts out new music? Huh" Ah, 'Sing The Changes' still at the fixed spot . (Same person who is reporting 'Got To Get You Into My Life', confusing reports tonight. Strangely enough all seeming to enjoy the concert instead of watching their smartphone screens ;))
-
'My Valentine' back in the piano set.
-
'I'm Looking Through You', and 'And I Love Her'.
-
"You would think those people in the front would be a little more excited! " I was thinking the same thing as I looked at that pic. People in St Louis had their hands in their air doing something most of the time. _________________

Yes Exactly! The whole floor, myself included, had their hands up for basically the entire show. You could just feel the love and excitement he was bringing to people.

oh, yeah, it was the best. I love being up and bopping around for an entire show even though my legs are paying a bit now. I was also pumping the air no nstop when I didn't put my sign up or was taking photos.

Thanks for the feedback so far, looking forward to personal reports photos etc after the show-goers return home and recover Usual reminder that set-list debate, suggestions for changes for this autumn's concerts should be posted in our special thread for that here; http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=85320 Martin

I think something is wrong with me. I just saw a Compete Paul McCartney concert, and i'm not flipping tables over shouting "HELTER SKELTER!".seriously though, I don't feel that Paul-high that other members felt. I think it's because I have other things on my mind. The show was by far the greatest thing i've ever bought. Only got 1 good picture out of it though. still, if I don't know if i'll ever get this opportunity again.

For those with Floor seats, the numbering at MMP was different than I thought/was told. For Instance, Floor B Row 1, Seat 1 was closest to Center Stage in the "B" Section. Not bad seats by any means, but not quite as good as they should've been! The St, Louis reports on Paul's vocals being particularly strong held. Sad to see no setlist surprises (not even "Midnight Special"), but "in the moment", there is no doubt Macca is among the elite entertainers, and this show cannot help but make you happy for at least awhile Paul was particularly taken with a toy rabbit thrown on stage during the first encore. He played with it during the second round of bows, and kept it in his back pocket during the entirety of the second encore.

Set list for Houston was slightly different from tour opener St. Louis... I'm Looking Through You replaced I've Just Seen A Face and Birthday was not played. One less song in Houston.

Anddddd like I posted over here while it happened, in contrary to the repeated reposted reTweeted false information on the feeds, there was no 'Drive My Car', but 'Got To Get You Into My Life'. But that wasn't too hard to guess ;).

Wow-to those of you sarcastically making comments about the set list (yet again) were you at the concert, or are you just trying to be uber cool? The comments are as boring and tired as the setlist that you all constantly moan about...... At the concert in St. Louis-I saw the faces of people, young and old that have never seen Paul in concert. The smiles and excitement I saw on these faces told me everything I had to know about the setlist-Paul's music gives his fans pure joy that continues through the whole concert. Yes-I know what you're going to say-if I don't like it, don't read it, BUT I think this thread didn't say it was going to be yet another *****fest about songs. It is your right to voice your opinion, but does it have to be on so many threads? Here's an idea-if you don't like the setlist-don't go to his concerts (after all, you KNOW what he will sing). Off my soapbox now.

Actually quite a few of us have done that and don't go to every tour any more. Like myself an others have said, he even tells the same stories betweeen songs and most of us probably could tell you word for word what he is going to say - lol. What you don't seem to understand is that there are many of us who are not just "Beatle Paul" fans, we are Paul McCartney fans and that would love to hear more songs from his entire career. Myself and many others are also the ones buying his solo records and records with "The Fireman". We would love it if McCartney pandered to us paying money for these records by playing more of it live. Finally, it has been noted in cities like NY where McCartney has performed fairly often that his setlist stays basically the same and he has been"slammed" a bit by the critics. for it. The only reason it is not mentioned more is because he is going to cities where he has not performed in awhile.

While obviously we care enough to still follow the shows, here's what I responsed to a similar comment during 'setlist watch' for the opening show:

Fr McKenzie:
Ya'll sound awfully jaded I have an 11 yr old boy who can't sleep right now from the excitement of this show and knowing that he will be seeing Paul on Wednesday in Houston I myself saw him in 66 and 76 and not since so thanks for the reports. it's all kind of exciting for us.
That's only because we are watching our computer screens, and aren't there in person! I remember coming back from Bologna, first time I saw him in a year and a half, heard 15 'new' setlist additions and 3 stunning songs for the first time ever, and reading all those negatives posts over here . You can't experience a show like this on paper.

I don't know about that. Following Fans On The Run & Barb Potter on twitter for St. Louis and Houston was good for me. Nice pics as well.
