... And i really hope new york stocked up on black T shirts in time for Waters and Co.
Yeah...real glad they dressed for the occasion! He sounds great but, why was he added to this lineup? His songs aren't exactly uplifting or apropriate for the ocassion.

Add him to my list along with: The Who The Rolling Stones Elvis Costello Bruce Springsteen Paul Weller Neil Young The Monkees Prince Ringo and on and on and on.... Sigh
Those are all great acts to see. I totally dropped the ball on a chance to see Ringo this summer. I'd like to see Prince, but his stage show has changed a lot recently.
Doh! Whats wrong with me? Oh course i've seen Elvis Costello I saw him on the same bill as Paul at Hyde Park two years ago!
Let's just pretend like that didn't happen. Did he do any McManus/McCartney compositions?
-
Woulda' been nice if Gilmour had made an appearance...
-

I wasn't as big a fan then but two songs I do remember him performing were 'Alison' and 'You've Got To Hide Your Love Away' by you-know-who from you-know-what album!

Oh god Adam Sandler why, go back to 13 years ago when your last good movie was!
-
Cringing here. Way to go to ruin a classic. Culture-clash I suppose, haha.
-
I don't know what was funnier...Adam Sandler's lyrics...or Paul Schaffer's voice...
-
This thread is basically a transcript of all the conversations, sarcasm and glowing, praising comments that can't be heard from the stage.

In other words 05:45 local time, so I might going to catch some sleep instead when friggin' Bon Jovi hits the stage in about 5 minutes.

Thanks for the update. I'm guessing "Christmas Song."
-
Bon Jovi playing his hits in a lower key. In about 3 hours 70-year McCartney will hit the stage, playing all his songs in the original key as he did them from the 60's until now.

For those who don't want to know the order of the show, don't try to read this: [size=6]Bon Jovi - Clapton - Stones - Alicia Keys - The Who - Kanye West - Billy Joel - Chris Martin - McCartney/Grohl/Krall/and more

MaccaBeatles:
They have all this amazing talent and then Chris Martin from Coldplay. ZZZZZ... Hope I don't fall asleep when he's on.
I'll add Kanye to that thought. zzzzzzzzz
-
Hey All-- Hope everybody is enjoying the show, I called to make a donation. All celebrities were busy on calls. HOWEVER, celebrities open up again at 10:00, and she said it is possible that Paul will be in the second batch. Keep an ear out.
