Thanks so much Oobu. Still think that Josh Homme sounds like Jim Morrison and gives this track a "Doors" feel.
Do me a favor and if you have time...can you post a couple more IMagined tracks like:
Seize the Day with Phoebe Bridgers
When Winter Comes with Anderson Paak
Women and Wives with St. Vincent
I like all of these. There are some I'm not crazy about but these 3 are all good in my opinion.
I don't care for either verson of When Winter Comes. Sounds very dated to me.
Seize The Day (Visualizer) ft. Phoebe Bridgers
When Winter Comes (Anderson .Paak Remix / Visualizer)
St. Vincent - Women And Wives (St. Vincent Remix / Visualizer)
Blood Orange - Deep Down (Blood Orange Remix / Visualizer)
Oobu thanks so much for posting all of this, really appreciated. My favorites so far are Kiss of Venus and Seize the Day. Haven’t listened to them all yet.
Can’t wait to hear them all, I just didn’t want to get signed out whilst I was listening!!! LOL
THANK YOU AGAIN

Well, having listened to the album a few times...
Really, only 3 of the 11 tracks are sung primarily by people other than Paul...
And they all do a great job, even if I'm still perplexed by the need for the album... Seize the Day is wonderful (sublime), but just affirms what a great song it was in the first place (the best on the McCartney 3 album). I like The Kiss of Venus.... and I agree, BJ... Lavatory Lil (whilst I think Joshua Homme sounds nothing like Jim Morrison) has a definite Doors-vibe. Most certainly.
Of the other "still-Paul" tracks, I'm loving Slidin', Feel the Way, and When Winter Comes.
Women and Wives sounds good. Deep Down is so, so much better cut to just over four minutes. I can now listen to it.
The other three songs just a waste of space - Pretty Boys does nothing for me, Long Tail Winter Bird a waste on an 11-track album... and Deep Deep Feeling goes from bad to worse.
The album proper would have benefitted from some of these alternate takes.... so too would have been the order of the track listing.
But at the end of the day, for me, the proper album is still three or four songs off being a great album. And on an 11-track album, that's a lot.

I think that sentence needed a comma after John Lennon.
And of course scatterbrained Paul thinks his mum died when he was about 10!

I have a question. In this remake of When Winter Comes, is it 2020 Paul singing? Or is this a different vocal take from 1992?

I think he used the original voice (1992) and then remixed over it.

Uh... I thought Mr. McCartney lost his mother when he was 14. Two years before John Lennon. ️

Really loving what I’m hearing. A friend and I are definitely going to get this album now! Looking forward to it's release! Am listening to a couple of songs per day to really focus, and I have to say I’ve really enjoyed every song so far!!

Yes, he was 14 on Oct. 31, 1956 when his mother died. John was 17 still on July 15, 1958 when his mother was killed.

Maybe someone more tech-oriented than me can put on Maccaboard the youtube video of the interview Paul recently had with Ed O'Brien (Radiohead). Have to say it was one of the best verbal only videos I've ever seen with Paul. Ed O'Brien is so relaxed with Paul and he in turn made Paul relaxed. It was Ed's 53rd Birthday on the day of the interview and his daughter joined her Father and Paul.
You have a picture/image in your head of what "rock stars" are all about but Ed seems so down to earth. The video is like 42 minutes but the conversation was so relaxed that it seems like it goes by in a flash. Ed is like 25 years younger than Paul but they had so much in common and they are both genuinely "nice" guys.
Thanks

All you need to do is to go to youtube & type in the names of what you are looking for. I typed in Ed O'Brian Paul McCartney & it popped up. Easypeasy! I thought I posted all the interviews but maybe they are in the other thread.

Nancy do you have a good article on where to put commas? It was so long ago I never remember

You are welcome. I use youtube like a google for music. You can go there & just type in Tom Petty or Paul McCartney or anyone & bunches of songs will come up.

It just cracked me up because the way it was written made it sound like Paul was sleeping with John recently! (on the eve of new album release)
But if you really want an article, I found this one:
