Green Bay is the first US rumor for 2015. If finalized, announcement of the artist for the June 20 concert is expected to be next month. If it is Paul, presumably other US dates would follow. http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/story/entertainment/music/2014/09/24/lambeau-field-host-major-concert-june/16185575/?from=global&sessionKey=&autologin=
Not to be a downer but Paul announcing a show 9 months in advance???
This.

Seriously...especially when NOv & Dec 2014 are still questionable. BUT...who knows?

Well, at least Paul won the poll. http://archive.greenbaypressgazette.com/poll/2014-09-25/8332598/results

My guess is Garth Brooks
-
I have read that promoters in Argentina will try again to secure a concert next year.
-
This is not a rumor but a prediction: in 2015 he will play the USA and Brazil.

That's not a rumor or a prediction...it's a GIVEN.

I just hope he's still playing all the "New" songs by the time he comes back around to the USA again in 2015, since I haven't seen the OUT THERE tour in person yet.
-
Well that's good news for me since I missed out on his tour this year...Im glad he's looking into another tour next year. I just want to see him one more time. I saw him back in 2002 so it's been a long while for me. Im way over due.

I hope so too. Except for maybe "Queenie Eye", I'd REALLY like to hear all that material a second time. I'd imagine if it's a brand-new tour then most if not all the songs will be dropped since that's just how it goes lately. But who knows! "Dance Tonight" stuck around for five years, surely "New" is just as good if not better!

I can see Save Us and New staying in the set for a few more years. They are catchy and upbeat tunes.

Also, "Dance Tonight" was a favorite of Paul's daughter Bea...which may have something to do with its longevity in the setlist.

I hope some of Paul's rarities will become favorites of hers as well

Hmm, yes! How can we make this happen??

I think he gets about $2-$3 million per show to play a Beatles-heavy set. If you could guarantee him more than that, he may consider doing a rarities-heavy set!

He was never supposed to play Hartford in 1993, I think that was just an error on the date in the post above. He did play there in 2002. Am not privy to any info about what happened but I was there and recall long delays getting people in. It was raining and most people naturally chose to enter through the main doors which were entered via an indoor shopping complex. I went in through doors that were directly on outside (in the rain). Anyway people were late getting in which delayed the start. Not aware of what else may or may not have happened. The venue is currently undergoing a major remodel/renovation. Hartford is definitely a secondary market (halfway betw Boston and New York) and on that point alone it would be surprising if Paul returned there.
Well, it seems CT, NM and SC are the only places he has played and decided never to return to, so I guess he has his reasons. All are secondary markets, so I get that.
What happened in NM? I saw him play there at Aggie Field (sic) on the New Mexico State campus in Las Cruces and he was touring in support for the "Off The Ground" album. I never heard of any issues in New Mexico.

I was also at that show. Not sure what the issues are, except for a flat economy. Still, I find it hard to believe that places like Lubbock, Fargo and Missoula can support a McCartney show, but not Albuquerque. We have a 40,000 seat football stadium that hosted the Rolling Stones, and Las Cruces obviously has the 30,000 seat stadium where McCartney played. What is most disheartening is the NM promoter who brought him in 1993 actually helped bring him to Lubbock, but did not get a NM show.
