Paul McCartney 2015 Rumors
-
Well, it looks like South America has officially taken over the rumor threads. I'm very happy for them, yet sad for the rest of the world- especially Horsens and Japan

I suspect Horsens will never see a McCartney show. And it is not looking good for Japan and South Korea. Maybe 2015. I wouldn't hold my breath.

There are conflicting rumors of Paul's tour in Argentina. Some say november 2014, others mention the first half of 2015, and now november 2015: http://musik.com.ar/1786/paul-mccartney-en-argentina.html Well, at least apparently there are negotiations going on.

Australia/New Zealand.

Apparently a company called Fenix reached an agreement (4 or 5 days ago) to bring Paul back to Argentina in 2015. A source (who seems to have connections) mentioned the first half of 2015. If so, my guess would be in April/May (as in 2011, 2012 and 2013), which would be match some rumors about Rio de Janeiro and possibly another city in Brazil. Someone else mentioned november 2015, but I'm not sure Paul's team would plan that far ahead. At least not enough to actually sign a contract.

It would be amazing to see Paul in Pompei! Verona was fantastic last year. http://corrieredelmezzogiorno.corriere.it/napoli/notizie/arte_e_cultura/2014/10-settembre-2014/da-domingo-paul-mccartneyl-estate-calda-pompei--230108095145.shtml Here's an English article: https://au.totaltravel.yahoo.com/travel-ideas/news-opinions/news/a/-/24996256/pompeii-to-host-operas-and-ballets/

Thanks Kimsey, I missed Verona, but I wouldn't miss Pompei, that would be a great place for the MAN to play! He'll be back hopefully sooner than you think!

Ok. Thought it was time to make the thread; I've heard a buzz about Australia from several sources for early 2015. Don't know if it will happen (more than 50/50)...
I really hope Paul does perform in Australia next year. I'm not taking it as fact, but I really hope he does, living in Australia, and never having the opportunity to see him in concert before. Could you please tell me where you heard this information, if possible. I wouldn't want to miss out on such an opportunity if he does come down under!!
-
Was just browsing information related to Paul coming to Australia next year. If you are interested there is currently a waitlist on Tiketek, so please sign up! The more interest specified, the more likely Paul will tour in Australia... Tiketek will then keep you updated, and alert you of any information regarding Paul coming to Australia. Yeah, I really want to see Paul in concert in my home country... hope others share my enthusiasm .
-
I signed that waitlist 6 months ago when it first went up. Here's hoping! Still yet to see where these March rumours originated, but I remain positive as well!

Paul had made quite a few appearances in Texas lately, as well as at universities. Wondering if he would be coming to Waco at the newly opened McLean Stadium on the Baylor University campus. Phillip Phillips opened the 45,000+ stadium with a concert, pep rally & fireworks show on Aug. 28. The stadium is shared with the city of Waco (which will allow alcohol at events). It sits on the banks of the Brazos River (the third major college stadium on a river after Washington & Tennessee) & has a horseshoe shaped canopy over the upper level. Paul seems to enjoy playing in new facilities, so who knows.

He may as well play Waco if he's going to play Lubbock. And then Amarillo and Abilene while he's at it. They are all in Texas and Texas has a lot of money.

Green Bay is the first US rumor for 2015. If finalized, announcement of the artist for the June 20 concert is expected to be next month. If it is Paul, presumably other US dates would follow. http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/story/entertainment/music/2014/09/24/lambeau-field-host-major-concert-june/16185575/?from=global&sessionKey=&autologin=

Not to be a downer but Paul announcing a show 9 months in advance??? That seems to be more in line with what U2 has done in the past. Hope I'm wrong!

The reference to "his tour" made me rule out U2. But given that this info is coming from a promoter might make this more a case of hype than a realistic possibility.

If that happens, it'll be the first time in nearly a decade that fans planning to attend a show will actually have time to save their pennies

I would guess its a country act based on this early type of announcement....but who knows!!
