Paul McCartney 2015 Rumors
-
How reliable is the person behind those two French rumors? Is he usually right on such matters, either regarding Paul or other artists? Last time he toured France (2011), how long in advance were tickets put on sale? Was there a pre-sale on Paul's website? How hard was the buying process?

Tickets generally went onsale 2 mos. in advance. I'm guessing Late March will start the announcements.

Great news! Was it possible for foreigners to buy tickets last time?
-
Can't see why not, you would have to be "will call" though unless you have a local address.

Thank you. I hope the purchase process is not as complicated as it was for the Japanese concerts. Do you remember what it was like in 2011? Pre-sale through Paul's website, etc?

It was a mess, I couldn't get a ticket originally but was able to get a GA from a fan on a French Macca board. Hopefully it will be easier this time...although if the Stones' SDF concert last year is anything to go by it might actually be worse!

Hoping for some NYC shows in 2015!! Though... Is it weird that I enjoyed traveling to Albany (3 hr drive) instead of a 30 min. train ride to NYC? Traveling for Paul is a lot of fun! Saw on some website the possibility of June 27th, July 31-August 1, or July 25 in NY. Very shady source though. I'll take anything! These make sense, as they are really the only available dates for him this year.

Is this true??? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/music-news/11453375/Sir-Paul-McCartney-announces-UK-tour.html Sir Paul McCartney has announced his first UK shows in three years including one gig marking the 50th anniversary of 'Yesterday'. The former Beatle will play London's O2, Birmingham and Liverpool in May as part of a European tour. The O2 show will take place 50 years after he finished writing his classic track Yesterday.

Really? I thought it had been done through the usual website pre-sale, which is usually not too difficult. Which website was in charge of ticket sales?

Those quotes sound rather convincing!
