[ I actually looked it up... the sun set in Missoula about 20 minutes ago!
Off topic but I see you used the picture in your avatar! How did you resize it? What program did you use?

Sgt._Pepper:
Paul and the band are close to wrapping things up in Montana. Here is tonight's setlist for Missoula. Paul swapped out "Get Back" for "I Saw Her Standing There".
Warmup for Candlestick perhaps?

Here is a great review of the concert. Mentions the mother and daughter getting on stage. http://www.greatfallstribune.com/story/entertainment/2014/08/06/paul-mccartney-wows-fans-three-hour-show-missoula/13663655/ RamblinRed

Here's an article with photo from the show last night: http://missoulian.com/news/local/mccartney-mines-career-spanning-catalog-in-missoula-concert/article_4e714afc-1d23-11e4-a1c3-0019bb2963f4.html
Thanks for posting the review. It was a good review. I have to agree with the reviewer about the comparison between shows by Paul and those of Bob Dylan. Bob Dylan is an incredible song writer, but when I saw him play last year it was far from a great performance.

Here's some nice local TV coverage of the event. Includes some pre-show chatting with fans, a little of All My Loving and a short segment on locals climbing the Mount Sentinel outside the stadium to watch the show from there. http://www.kpax.com/videos/paul-mccartney-rocks-missoula/ RamblinRed

I saw some pics on facebook which looked like a couple of girls got signed. Any confirmation of that?
Here is the video:
Ha! I love the look on his face when the mom pushes the strap of her top down so he can get to her shoulderblade. Altho I was rather hoping that the fact he'd stopped bringing people on stage during this tour was the start of "a new direction."
-
Be sure and post your pix, we'd love to see him. I hope you all had a wonderful time!

Here's a link to Paul's Aug 5 radio interview on local Montana radio. He talks about visiting Missoula, Revolver, videos, and a new project where Paul provides a sound track to the Destiny video game. https//

Thank you, that was a great listen. Paul sounds in good spirits. Is it just me that thinks his accent is getting thicker? I love listening to his voice, btw.

That's exactly what it looked like. Fantastic pix of the stadium.

__________________________________________________ Getting back to the 2 ladies that came up on stage in Montana, Paul's expression when the one lady pushed the strap to her top away was so funny...Classic Paul!!! Not that crazy about this thing in general but that was way funny.

Just watched the video of the mother and daughter again...I'm still laughing. Isn't Paul the classic English gentleman.

Does anyone know if the two women (who got autographed) are boardies? I was so excited to see them up there! I actually met them at Outside Lands (front row for Muse of course) a few years ago. They were standing next to me and I had sent them my photos of the show afterwards. Not sure if they ever received them! But it's very cool to see that they're going to all these concerts together Wonderful mother-daughter memories!

Wow... Can we get back to the show in Missoula rather than all this other stuff. I'm sure there is somewhere else to discuss this. Anyway.... Does anybody have a list of the sound check sounds he did. I had a spot outside the stadium that I could watch the whole thing. It was super cool. I really liked the set list for the show even though I'm not a huge fan of benefit of mr kite or lovely Rita... I'm very happy he did saw her standing there instead of get back. Everybody out there was probably my fav song of the night? I feel like that's not what people were expecting from a 72 year old but it blew everybody away. So glad Montana finally got to sing hey Jude! What a great night

Bob, I'm sorry we went a bit off topic, and it was a bit disrespectful to those like you that wanted to share their excitement about their experience at the concert. I am very happy that you had a really good time and had a great night.

Hubs said he was playing "Paperback Writer" in the stadium shot.

Here is a nice slideshow of pictures from and around the show. I particularly like some of the shots of the people on the mountain. http://www.nbcmontana.com/news/slideshow-paul-mccartney-plays-missoula/27328554 RamblinRed
