If he is going include Mr Kite and Eight Days a week then I would say that A Day in the life/Day Tripper will be taken out.
Makes you wonder, what ELSE he is taking out.... very curious to see....
Certainly does, the jury is out for Mr Kite?! I will hazard a guess that others like Juniors Farm, The Night Before and Helter Skelter could be for the chop, its gonna be hard to predict.

I think Helter Skelter may finally be done... and I'm fine with that. Juniors Farm, and The Night Before... were both relatively new additions... so im not sure on those. They haven't been played to death... yet! I think it's time to finally give Back In The USSR a much needed break.... maybe give Long And Winding Road a break too... And I think it's finally time he takes out Let Me Roll It, and Eleanor Rigby. Both great songs, but if he's adding so much new stuff... something has to go! I also feel like the following will be on the chopping block: I've Got A Feeling Dance Tonight Mrs. Vandebilt Paperback Writer

I would agree with you, but like I said in an earlier post Paul has a habit of dropping new additions early on, so wonder if he's going to stick with the same set all the way through the tour?

Very curious. Sometimes when he soundchecks em they miss the concert and sometimes they don;t. Here Today, Blackbird, Sing The Changes have been done to death...Long and Winding Road, Eleanor Rigby and LMRI could do with a rest too. Dance Tonight is finished, surely.

I was outside the stadium with other fans and we could hear the soundcheck. The setlist seems incredible, but it is real. I do not remember the correct order, though: Blue Suede Shoes Got To Get You Into My Life Sing The Changes Let 'Em In Calico Skies We Can Work It Out Eight Days A Week Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite Lovely Rita Another Day Hope Of Deliverance Listen To What The Man Said Hi Hi Hi All Together Now Your Mother Should Know Blackbird Here Today
I know not everyone of these songs will be played tonight, but just the idea of him playing some of that at a rehearsal is VERY encouraging!!! VERY excited for the possibility of We can work it out, Lovely Rita, Another Day, Hope of Deliverance, Listen to what the man said, all together now, your mother should know, hi hi hi, and VERY VERY intrigued to hear mr. kite!!! I hate when he does Lennon songs, but watching Paul sing this song would be WELL worth the price of a gold ticket! Really, there isn't a bad song on this list. I don't think he'll play Blue Suede Shoes. That's a soundcheck staple of sorts. And I really hope "Sing The Changes" is left behind for this tour. I'm done with it.

Unless he removes Hey Jude and Yesterday, nothing he adds or removes will surprise me. We know he will make some set changes, that we can be sure of. But if he added Oh! Darling, that would blow me away. He's never done it since it was recorded. 'All new" sounds like there may be several surprises in store. Since I won't be seeing this tour unless he adds a So. California date, I can't wait for the reviews!

I always thought that Paul's soundcheck songs were almost completely different to his actual show songs. Perhaps the band were trying out a load of new songs for the 'Out There' setlist, and these were some of the ones that didn't quite make the cut? It certainly is encouraging to see them playing some new stuff though! There'll be some very pleasant surprises tonight..

That's true but, keep in mind that last night was no soundcheck. It was a rehearsal for the tour so, it makes sense to me that they would rehearse songs that need work because they are to be played tonight!

Thinking that way then you could also think that they are checking the sound for the songs he'll play tonight. They want to keep us guessing. Remember when he was rehearsing for the White House? Those songs didn't make it into the setlist but he did rehearse them.

We also know Paul takes his intimate gigs much more seriously...and if I were him and had a gig at the white house that was being televised and filmed in front of some of the most important people in the country, I would rehearse the songs much further in advance too.

Nothing out of the ordinary except for "We Can Work it Out".

By any means, it's kick off in 30 minutes. If they are starting on time, that is.
