Is it true that population is 105,000?
According to last year's census, Fargo's population is 113,658.
It must be even more unusual and exciting for such a town to receive an artist as legendary as McCartney, then. I bet it must be a sold out concert. What is the seating capacity of the venue?
It is not sold out. It holds about 23,000. What is frustrating is Albuquerque has a population of 562,000 and a metro population of 909,000 but cannot get a McCartney concert. University Stadium, where the Rolling Stones played in 1997, can hold 40,000. The Stones had 34,000 at their concert.
There are no tickets showing available on Tickektmaster so it appears to be sold out, at least officially. As for the venue, it depends on how it's configured. 25,000 is max. capacity for the whole place, inc. back and floor. If it a 3/4 concert configuration, it will be about 16,000. Guess they will find out tonight. Rock On North Dakota!

Well, I have a feeling ALL the shows will be "officially" sold out. One article for Albany said the crowd was close to 20,000. Another article said 15,000. And a news article said official attendance was 13,500. So, there ya go!
-
Those seats just came up right in front of the stage. On the Fargodome site.

In Fargo ready to ROCK!!

HAVE FUN EVERYONE!

And this article (about a pizza parlor named Blackbird) says "McCartney's first appearance in North Dakota is Saturday at the Fargodome, where a crowd of about 17,000 people is expected for the show." http://bismarcktribune.com/news/state-and-regional/fargo-pizza-parlor-owners-connected-to-mccartney-song/article_30cfd78e-0928-11e4-96fd-001a4bcf887a.html However many of you are going to be there: have a great time!

Yeah, that's cool! 17,000 is nothing to sneeze at. That building is actually designed for football, isn't it? According to this site, Fargodome can seat between 20,000 and 26,000 depending on the staging: https://secure.forumcomm.com/?publisher_ID=1&article_id=422406

Saw, thinking of heading over to the "Dome" a little early. Guess there is no chance to hear any of the sound check, given it's an indoor venue?
-
Have a GREAT time and don't forget to take us some pictures
-
It should be getting close to soundcheck time in Fargo. Has anyone here been to the Fargodome?

Oh could be...maybe I misunderstood!

Limited people trying to sell tickets outside Fargodome at prices WAY below face value. I almost feel a little ripped off.
