WIX, I called Orioles Park (Baltimore). The links shown above will go live tomorrow at the appropriate times. They only use digital tickets and thus one needs to use the MLB Ballpark app to access your tickets. I worried if I can't go for some reason my friend will not be able to go without my cell phone (we live in very different states). The kind gentleman told me that if I'm comfortable sharing my log in information with my friend that would be a solution, if needed.

Hey anyone know if the amex or PM presale is the better of the two as far as getting close seats goes ??
Somebody in a different thread commented that they thought the PM presale was better.
My password emaili fromPM just arrived although I had PAULGOTBACK as it has been shared here. Just curious as to how many are going to wait for supposedly better seats at noon PM presale rather go the AMEX route at ten. A huge part of me can't stand to sit on my hands and wait two hours. Guess I don't trust Ticketmastery to not turn into
Ticket Tyrant!
John, I have always used Ticketmaster and my AMEX card, but was not going for regular seats - got Hot Sound Package in 2013, 2014 and 2017 and got center seats in 3rd/4th row. In 2019 got Gold VIP and had great seats on the side (stage left) in 2nd section back.

Thanks so much! WOW - only digital tickets?!? I wonder how that carries over to the VIP Packages. I don't have a smart phone, though the 3G network my phone exists on is being terminated at the end of 2022, so perhaps this is going to be the time to make that leap! I assume I can purchase them on my computer tomorrow without having an account with this APP?

3G is ending here tomorrow for ATT. I wonder what people will do?

Hey OOBU! Nice to "see" ya! I'm with Verizon and they stated 1/1/23 as the cut-off here. I had a similar issue buying tickets for Robert Plant & Alison Krauss (ironically enough, the night before Paul will be here!) However, after calling the venue, they said if I came to their box office they could go around Ticketmaster and print them for me (also eliminating TM's extra fees!) If we go with a Soundcheck Package for Camden Yards though, perhaps instructions will be different anyhow? I've only ever done a Soundcheck Package for The Beach Boys' 50th Anniversary tour and we didn't even have "real" tickets with that. We had all kinds of email print-offs and special instructions etc.

WIX, I have been looking at the Orioles Park sale on my computer, not iPhone. So I assume we can buy tix on the computer. My cell phone screen is so small I'd hate to have to use that.

Have most, or all of you, gotten your PM presale code? I did not receive mine and I did check my spam folder. I did get another pre-sale code, I don't know if it's better or worse, but it doesn't start until Thursday.
It's PAULGOTBACK for his sale starting at noon local time of the venue.
I did get my email this morning, but thank you for sharing. I guess my desire to see Macca again drove my impatience.

Someone on FB posted that they called AMEX and was told that the code for the presale is the customer service number on the back of your card. I had heard that in the past, but never had to enter it even though I was using AMEX, their presale used to begin at the same time as Paul's (10am) so if I had to use a code it was his. I posted this on FB for a woman who sounded very nervous and like she'd never ordered PM concert presale tickets before:
Do you have an AMEX card? Do you have a Ticketmaster account? If yes to both, make sure to log in to TM and enter all your info (address, card # etc.) Then at 9:50am (time of whatever venue you want, may be different from your time) log into TM and find the page for Paul’s concerts:
https://www.ticketmaster.com/paul-mccartney-tickets/artist/735610
Click on the Event Info for the concert you want. Keep refreshing the page until it is 10am and click on Find Tickets when it pops up. You can only order 2 tickets in AMEX presale. You can order up to 6 tickets in Paul’s presale 2 hours later.

You will probably have to have the app on your computer/laptop. I use a 15" iPad - no way would I try to order tickets on a cellphone!
P.S. You still haven't responded to my PM. There should be a red circle with a white #1 in it on top of the little envelope icon at top right.

As I was getting ready for bed, a little voice in the back of my head kept saying to check out that App before tomorrow morning. I don't really know what to expect but I'm going to be at work doing this, and would hate to miss tickets over a stupid app. So thankfully my wife has come to the rescue, we've downloaded the app to her tablet that I'll take with me as back-up, and I've made an account on the tablet.
I just can't wrap my head around how "virtual ticketing" is a viable solution in the longrun. There are so many "what-ifs". FOlks like myself not having smartphones will eventually sort itself out, but what about loss of wifi to present the tickets? What if you drop your phone when you're getting the ticket scanned and they can't scan the screen? These devices are so sensitive and have so many layers of dependence on other factors...it's really making me kind of anxious thinking about spending thousands of dollars on two soundcheck tickets that I'm never going to touch...they'll just hover about in a cloud and hopefully appear when I need them to!...
...anyway, rant over. NJR- I replied to your message a few days ago. I just copy and pasted it as a new message to see if that worked. I don't think I've sent a message on here since 2017!

Yes. For MLB parks, you can buy them using a computer or tablet or phone, but they will not send you paper tickets or PDF tickets. The tickets are only available in the app, so I guess you would have to go to the box office on the day and ask them to print tickets for you.

Saw both and replied! Don't know why your reply didn't show up until now!
About "virtual ticketing" - I used it for the first time in Dec. when I just had to get into Ticketmaster to show the QR code. Just make sure you know your user name (should be your email) and password. You need to buy a 4G phone so if there is no wi-fi you can still use your apps, email, FB, etc.! I also have Verizon but called them and they said my Samsung Galaxy S9 is fine. My mom will have to just ditch her old flip phone! She's 91 so it's no big deal to her.

I've never had a problem with electronic ticketing (I have a smart phone 5G). But I've been told if you print the confirmation page after you have paid for the ticket(s) (on Ticketmaster) they will accept that for entry.

So for the Baltimore show you will have to purchase the tickets through MLB.com? You can't use ticketmaster?? Just wondering.
-
For some venues like Oakland, the seating maps shows,"Pit" in front of the stage. ( kind of small )
I think Hard Rock shows a "Pit" as well
Does anyone know if its actually standing, general admission, or rather limited rows of seating?

Purchase here: Paul McCartney Concert at Camden Yards | Music | Tickets | Baltimore Orioles (mlb.com)
Tickets will be accessed through the My MLB Parks APP.
