Pre-Sale

The Amex sale has started for the concert I want to attend. How will I know when to get in line for the PM presale? Thanks!
-
How did everyone do on the Amex presale?
I was able to get Winston-Salem; Hollwood, Fla; Orlando; and Met Life.

Got two for Knoxville but only after repeatedly trying and failing on desktop and then switching to iPad. Got two seats in first attempt on iPad. Very glad I had it ready and at hand as a backup. Word of advice---have every e-device you have at hand for you never know....

I managed to get Pit standing for Hollywood, at face value, so I am very happy indeed!
Now just need to try and get something decent on the floor for Orlando.

How do we know what face value is anymore? I never price's published when the announcement was made. As it took over twenty minutes to get two Knoxville tickets, I could see prices rising to reflect market demand but they should provide start prices just as the stock market does when new issues come to market.

WIX, I called Orioles Park (Baltimore). The links shown above will go live tomorrow at the appropriate times. They only use digital tickets and thus one needs to use the MLB Ballpark app to access your tickets. I worried if I can't go for some reason my friend will not be able to go without my cell phone (we live in very different states). The kind gentleman told me that if I'm comfortable sharing my log in information with my friend that would be a solution, if needed.
Thanks so much! WOW - only digital tickets?!? I wonder how that carries over to the VIP Packages. I don't have a smart phone, though the 3G network my phone exists on is being terminated at the end of 2022, so perhaps this is going to be the time to make that leap! I assume I can purchase them on my computer tomorrow without having an account with this APP?
You will probably have to have the app on your computer/laptop. I use a 15" iPad - no way would I try to order tickets on a cellphone!
P.S. You still haven't responded to my PM. There should be a red circle with a white #1 in it on top of the little envelope icon at top right.
As I was getting ready for bed, a little voice in the back of my head kept saying to check out that App before tomorrow morning. I don't really know what to expect but I'm going to be at work doing this, and would hate to miss tickets over a stupid app. So thankfully my wife has come to the rescue, we've downloaded the app to her tablet that I'll take with me as back-up, and I've made an account on the tablet.
I just can't wrap my head around how "virtual ticketing" is a viable solution in the longrun. There are so many "what-ifs". FOlks like myself not having smartphones will eventually sort itself out, but what about loss of wifi to present the tickets? What if you drop your phone when you're getting the ticket scanned and they can't scan the screen? These devices are so sensitive and have so many layers of dependence on other factors...it's really making me kind of anxious thinking about spending thousands of dollars on two soundcheck tickets that I'm never going to touch...they'll just hover about in a cloud and hopefully appear when I need them to!...
...anyway, rant over. NJR- I replied to your message a few days ago. I just copy and pasted it as a new message to see if that worked. I don't think I've sent a message on here since 2017!
When my phone was hacked a couple of years ago, the Police told me that phones are extremely hackable and that you should never use them for banking or you should not put your credit card # in them either. The person who hacked me probably used a clone phone and they were even able to cancel my order for the limited edition of Egypt Station. When it was cancelled they wrote, as me, that they didn't order it. I had to pay double on eBay to buy it. I don't use my phone anymore for anything with personal info, credit cards or banking.

OMG! That was excrutiatingly difficult. One hour of my life I will never Get Back.(pun intended)
Logged in to Ticketmaster at 11:45 local time via the emailed link. Entered the "Queue" at 12:00...tick tock tick tock...then at 12:15 got access...did NOT see any soundcheck or Gold or whatever. Kept looking for tix, kept saying none available for sections A, B, C....kept trying, trying.trying then lo and behold I found some >>> BUT said issue with device I was using!! WTH??
FINALLY at 1:00PM local time, I found some in Row 4, section C...snagged them. Whew!
It REALLY should not be this difficult!!!!!

I've used the MLB Ballpark app a number of times for baseball games. You can send the tickets to other people with their e-mail address and then they can access them using the app.
It's not the simpliest process and I wouldn't try to figure it out an hour before the show but totally dooable.
This page from the Seattle Mariners explains the process: https://www.mlb.com/mariners/tickets/season-tickets/holders/mlb-ballpark-app/transferring-tickets

Now the damn code is BANDON when you select only Venue Presale!
And if you have $5000 per ticket to blow, there are 2 seats in Sec. 109 (center) behind the pit at the Hard Rock in Hollywood!
