MaccaMeri:
No More Lonely Nights, Girl's School and Spies Like Us? What is the source of this set list, because If this actually is accurate, I have to mortgage my house to go to the tour...
It is a joke. That is why I am laughing!

Good grief...

That is really funny, now that I think about it.

Still crossing my fingers for a wholly re-vamped show in 2016.

Yeah Yeah Yeah! Since he has already done it with other songs he has written "nose to nose" with John, he should play I Want To Hold Your Hand, She Loves You, and From Me To You.
-
Another awesome song to play would be "it won't be long". Paul have rehearsed this song to play it at mtv unplugged show but then he had drop it from the setlist.
-
I think Paul should do I Am The Walrus as a John tribute. THAT would be cool.

I love that track! At the risk of confusing people, I would love for Macca to perform the entire Meet The Beatles album (the U.S. version). That album is a longtime fave of mine. One catchy song after another. Then he could follow that set by performing Flaming Pie in its entirety. Jsut sayin'...

THAT would be cool! Or have him perform the whole Hard Day's Night LP live, then do the Tug Of War LP in its entirety. Or maybe Something New. I always loved that LP!

I don't mind half the show being focused on older stuff....but I think he should take on more of a 'now and then' theme, with the 'then' portion taking up only half the show with an even distribution of Wings and Beatles...the 'now' part could include anything post Wings...and furthermore, I know he has some songs that he's just not going to let go and will forever be embedded within every set list..but he should minimize that list of repeats to 10 songs or less, only to include the absolute essentials (Hey Jude, Long and Winding Road, Let it Be, Maybe I'm Amazed, Live and Let Die...to mention a few)...the rest of the 'then' portion of the show should include exploring songs he hasn't done yet
-
When he changes half a dozen (or maybe a dozen) songs for the 2016 tour, I'm guessing half of those will be Wings (well-known singles such as Silly Love Songs or Goodnight Tonight plus stuff like Big Barn Bed, Helen Wheels or Getting Closer) and the other half will be Beatles (Martha My Dear and earlier 63-65 tracks, maybe including another song that was originally sung by Lennon). He does not seem willing to explore a lot of his 80s/90s/00s catalogue, so his options of 60s-70s songs are decreasing with each tour. He will either have to go even deeper into those Beatles/Wings tracks or reassess his position about his post-Wings career.

Love this approach! Also Carlos' idea..."reassess his position about his post-Wings career".

I would be surprised if there are six new songs in 2016, never mind 12. I predict three. By new songs I mean Beatles and Wings he has never played before. I want to be surprised. So maybe it will happen.

If we get a new tour name, we'll get more than that. But if it's still "out there", I'd be impressed with three new songs...

If McCartney trots out a Year Four "Out There" tour, he has given up.

Or would just be phoning it in. It is not complicated, the guy has an astounding catalogue, he could really freshen things up without having to start from scratch or anything.

I agree it is not complicated but it is not going to happen, I have given up. IMO - he is too old and stubborn at this point to challenge himself at live performances. The best you may get is a little tweeking here and there but nothing worth noting. I would love Mr. McCartney to prove me wrong but highly doubt it.

Based on that new graphic on the main site, I think it's safe to say that Out There is (as they say) outta there!
