... And, Audi, why did you have to walk 20 miles?!! And you forgot your 30 SPF sunscreen?
With all the trekking we did on foot -- two trips back to the car; seeing all the performance stages, etc.; getting lost and taking needlessly longer return-trips to particular areas -- we pretty much put in a 20-mile hike. Maybe longer.

OK, friends...confession time: Paul sounded great! Unfortunately, Rod and I made the mistake of arriving way too early...the heat, combined with walking over 20 miles, forced us to leave the concert early. We were absolutely exhausted. I got terribly sunburned, and I developed a rash...awful. Also, Rod and I were seemingly the only people there NOT on some sort of drug. I will never do Bonnaroo again (sober.) We left after "Another Day." So, other than "Hi Hi Hi," I got to see the songs I wanted to see most. I am DEFINITELY going to try and see Paul during the fall leg of the tour, when the new album is released...somewhere, hopefully.
I would have been in the same shape as you. I got sick at the Joint after waiting in line in the heat (record heat that day) with no water and security not allowing people to sit down. This is the only Paul concert I have ever left early. I felt too bad to enjoy. I feel your pain. And this is why I don't do festivals--too much sun, booze and drugs.

During "Hey Jude", Paul talks to the crowd in Portuguese: "Todos Juntos!" (all together!). You can hear at 3:17 in the link below:

Hi everyone! I haven't posted since I'm still here on the farm and my phone keeps dying but just wanted to share that I was front row rail!! Also he answered my sign by saying, "Hi Hope!" Also the walrus he sang to was mine! My brother threw it!! I would gladly share pics if anyone wants but I'm unsure of how to do that on here with my iphone. If anyone wants me to post some please let me know how to do so. Thanks!

Congrats, would love to see a photo of your walrus, I think every review of the show that I read mentioned Paul singing to it. But I don't know how you can post pix from your phone, either. ops:

"Todos juntos" has the same pronunciation and meaning in both languages, actually.

that is really funny audi! shit happens.. I had a Warped Tour expeience like that many years ago, those festivals you need to be ready to just get inhihlated.. otherwise you're leaving early at some point cool experience though I'm sure!

Here is my Bonnaroo report! http://percythrillington.tumblr.com/post/53219296666/i-just-saw-my-idol-in-concert-my-mom-took-these Also, in addition to this, I was surprised to see a pic of Linda and the kids side by side with a pic of Yoko and Sean during Paul's new mothers tribute. It was oddly touching.

Lol!" Here, sir McCartney, there's your wristband, don't lose or break it, otherwise you won't be allowed on the site and we won't get you a new one".
